Many times it may happen you genuinely wish to purchase platform ticket but are unable to do so due to lack of time or due to heavy rush. At that times below 2 ideas can be applied. 1. Normally there are ticket counters outside Railway stations which are outsourced to private parties. these counters are generally in the vicinity of the station n charge 1re extra over n above the ticket charges. Now they don't have right to sell platform tickets but you can ask for passenger class ticket for nearest station so at least you can legally use platform. For me, nearest station ticket costs meager 2rs + 1 extra =3rs. 2nd option is to generate eticket sms relevant to that date which you are going on platform n show it as if you just alighted from the train. I don't want anyone to use these ideas as general practice n rather buy platform ticket. But these ideas are only for such things when u really can't buy the ticket. Area Code Finder - CDMA and GSM Networks
hiteshkkk1 replied to Arun's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
They do work but show name of original network even after mnp. There is no public database of mnp numbers so u can never trace which operator the number belongs to. That said, even then the app is useful that it shows circle name. Also, not all numbers that call us are mnp so it's fairly ok. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2 -

Wanted to utilize ebay 10% coupon. They have extended the validity upto 30 June. Wanted views from gurus here on selecting best VFM LED/LCD/Plasma TV in range of 25-30K. 1st preference is 25-30k. whatever fits in that budget would be finalized. I am confused as to which technology to choose.- 6,376 replies

Universal Username And Password For Reliance Netconnect+
hiteshkkk1 replied to HetalDP's topic in Data services
one more clarification required : EVDO is activated always on MEID/ESN (RSN) and MDN pair. once EVDO is active from backend, one needs to enter HDR Username & Password (varies from device to device) or nv dump for HDR Username & Password. what i understand from the first post is Universal Username "net" and Password "net" is to be used for activating Data Connection (1x), rather than MDN as username & password for netconnect plan or "omh****@***.relianceinfo.com / S**************D" for Rworld plan. HDR Username & Password is still required to enable EVDO on Imported handsets. Please correct me if i am wrong.. Exactly right... Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2 -
Universal Username And Password For Reliance Netconnect+
hiteshkkk1 replied to HetalDP's topic in Data services
^^ as of now, mdn/mdn or net/net both will work & behave same wrt to Billing. net/net is introduced so as to avoid hassles of changing username/password for new no.every time handset is changed. If u are not going to give ur handset to anyone, u can keep using evdo with existing mdn/mdn settings too. It won't stop working... Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2 -
Universal Username And Password For Reliance Netconnect+
hiteshkkk1 replied to HetalDP's topic in Data services
From what I understand & my talks with HP, there are 2 parameters. 1. EVDO Parameters - Required to latch / authenticate to EVDO signals. HDR Username & HDR Password are EVDO parameters. 2. Netconnect parameters - Required to start DATA (1x or EVDO). Earlier we used to login either by using MDN as username & password or by RWORLD username & password. These parameters are needed to access data & also billing is based on this. Now, based on above facts, I conclude as below, (Pls correct me if I am going wrong) a. Even if 1 is incorrect & 2 is correct 1x will work & evdo will not work. b. If 1 is correct & 2 is incorrect 1x or evdo both will not work. c. Suppose u r using mdn 93xxx with meid : ABC & activated evdo on this meid & using internet with username / password as net, then when u change the handset, evdo is still active on old rsn-mdn pair i.e 93xxx : ABC. So, if your handset buyer uses evdo on ur handset with rsn ABC & username n password as net, then u will be billed since meid ABC is linked to your no. 93xxx. So, whenever u change handset, immediately re-activate evdo on new meid so old meid-mdn pair would be cancelled n new meid-mdn pair would be active. Hope my explanation & conclusion is right & helps the community... -

But, when i shifted from EL rom to AOKP or CM9, my nv settings were perfect, still i could not use EVDO.... so, by that logic, even if i boot el29 from emmc, load dump, when i boot back to aokp, will evdo start working??? -

You can't access memory card unless u have any file manager. So either u can install file manager like astro from market or u can download from my tiny url link. That link will directly download the apk n once downloaded, it is available in downloads folder so u can install astro n then install all apks... Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
