Theres no doubt about it... you can 100% port from rcdma to idea. Just apply idea no in name of friend that's it. They are not concerned abt ownership in case of donor operator. I have myself ported in such cases so am confident.

Why do you need to change ownership of rcdma?? You can transfer your wife's rcdma to idea in you're friends name... Registered name of donor operator need not be same as Donee operator. I've even did it 2-3 times before... Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk

was planning to book helicopter service from katra to sanjichat. Booking opens a month before. I tried to book for 20or21 march but it says all slots are full... Any of our forum members can guide me in this regard? i mean, apart from online booking, can i get the booking done on the spot? since i feel there is some glitch or issue with online booking as none the slot is showing availability. Also, is it safe? Or pony is better option? Apart from that, can we finish patnitop in 1 day? Like start from katra in morning, night stay at patnitop, start from patnitop at 10-11 am next morning for 2pm trainfrom jat to asr? Is it sufficient n feasible? Any other suggestions welcome... Booked return chopper tickets for 20 March.. One of my friend just came from his trip. He said even if our time slot is booked, still they will accommodate us if we go early n there is vacancy, which is normally the case since more than 50% people don't come even after booking. Thanks for very good n detailed info. based on your inputs, i am planning as below.. Start to bhavan on pony + cng on 19 early morning around 6am. Reach bhavan by 9. i would book return chopper (for the sake of getting vip entry) for 11.30am n come down n if deem fit we can proceed to patnitop at 2-3pm which should be ok? also, i will check each time slot for returning chopper n try to book after 1pm so i have ample time for Darshan from 9-1. Thanks all for detailed answers... Have some more doubts... I am reaching Jammu by 11am on 18mar. I checked for return chopper service & on 19mar, there is avilibility around 11.30am as well as 3.10pm. So, if I start on 19mar at 8am from Katra to bhawan on Pony, is it possible to reach bhawan n complete the darshan n reach sanjichat before 3pm?? Also, If yes, then by 3.30 we should be in Katra. So, is it feasible to start from Katra to Patni Top @ 4-5pm n reach by 8pm?? Also, is it advisable to travel late evening? One more possibility is if we start from katra to bhavan on 18mar itself at around 3-4 pm on pony n book return chopper from sanjichat to katra as early as possible on 19mar, where do we stay on 18mar at bhavan?? i already checked rooms n there is no availability on site in any type of room at bhavan & room is must as we have kids with us (below 3yrs). Last, if we dont think of chopper n start at 3-4 pm on pony n even return on pony, would we be back to katra by late night?? if so, we can start to Patnitop on 19mar morning itself... I am confused a lot so asking too many questions... Pls guide me...

Apart from that, RM what I meant was, helicopter is safe or we should prefer ponies. I mean, i was not comparing safety between helicop & pony but wanted to make sure if helicop was really safe or we should not prefer it. Anyways.. lets see if I am able to get the tickets or not... I talked to the no. that you gave me... He says, now only online booking is allowed & not through agents so cant do it...

Installed this one thru cwm http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1505979 [ ROM ] Stock Rooted FB17 System [ ICS / OS 4.0.3 ] Performance is buttery n signal issue with fb15 modem. Installation is bit tricky.. In hurry now so not posting but if any one is stuck up or want to know please post here, will be happy to help... Missing notification drawer shortcuts though. Did you directly install fb17 through cwm? In my case i was not able to boot so i reverted to el19 n then went to fb09 but due to network issue reverted again to el19. FB09 seems buggy... After some time of inactivity, phone loses network n then restarting is the only solution... Though, if i am using 3g, it won't leave the network up to the time i am using. Reverted back to EL29... Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk

^^ as other Sellers would agree, it's easy to sell handsets but very difficult to service each sales since most of the Sellers here are not full time mobile Sellers. Everyone has other commitments n sales is just a part of hobby with a bit of earning. I tried selling sub 10k handsets n all of then sold very quickly but after sales was rather difficult as the issues were generic related to reliance, activation, macds, retain, evdo, phone book transfer, wifi, etc which can be googled n solved but as a buyer no one takes this pain n personally i don't like to ignore issues of my buyers how silly they may be, due to my nature.. (no direct offense to anyone here). Hence i reduced my importing frequency as my 1st priority is my main stock Broking business.. So to sum up, RM is totally right that masses should also use high end smart phones on Cdma but then as a seller, i feel it's very difficult to service the sales n bringing 10k range handsets would imply high volume which in turn would require lot of after sales service which is very tedious job, specially if issues are silly as i mentioned above... Getting omh handsets at this price point will reduce lot of after sales issues, at least, activation n evdo related n seller can focus on other things... And i know kapil has been doing really good work n he would surely try to lower the price point.. Getting mint handsets is really a luck game but i always got mint handsets only and always satisfied till now.. I think mods can allow pre booking so kapil can take risk of importing mint / new handsets in bulk. Last, i am thankful to Hetal bhai, Hitesh Hambarde, Parinbhai, this forum n google. Though i mentioned the problems above related to service, even i am one of the person who has learned from above people, even when i had not purchased from them anything. But i make it a point to solve the issues mostly through email or gtalk so they will reply when they have time. I would suggest buyers to do prior research n then buy the handsets so they can solve the issues by themselves. There is lot of 1st hand info available on this forum itself. Just today test drove Hyundai Eon n finalized Era model. They have now discontinued the era model n gave the same features to dlite+. They had 2 Era cars of December 2011 n he gave me 15000 discount on current dlite+ prizes if i chose that... On road price for Eon era net after discount is 330000/- He said i will get additional exchange bonus discount chq of 10000 after six months... Have finalized Thursday to take the delivery.. Just now activated the pack in Maharashtra & my reply SMS reads as below.. Your Core a/c bal is 290.530 MB valid till 2024-03-27 and your Netconnect a/c bal is 1050.000 MB valid till 2012-03-09 1050mb!!! Is there some issue???
