  3. Activated 43/- pack on my ti postpaid. it gives 2gb of free internet on handset or even thru tethered usage as per TI FAQ. Will be using it on Palm Pixi on 1x as we dont have EVDO in out town yet. Also, these pack is available for non-evdo. I had to 1st deactivate my HSIA service since I was not able to activate it till EVDO was active (though I was not using it, it was active since I had once put my number on BB8530 & activated BIS for 3 months). Pixi is good... Especially at the price I got it for (below 3k), I am happy that I will be online..
  4. Word of caution : one of my friend is using this phone on verizon n is sad about the battery life compared droid 1 which he was usng earlier.

    ^^ Finally purchased Asus RT-N13U Wireless N Router Print Server from homeshop18 for 3039 less 500 gift coupon which is courtesy of one of the post if rim web. Though this does not have parental controls still supports usb modems/ pen drive / printer along with ddwrt firmware so went for this.

    Cancelled my order with AM as the model is jwnr2000 while. I ordered it thinking its wnr2000. Main diff is wnr has live parental controls which jwnr does not have. Looking to finalise dlink dir 615 as it is supported by ddwrt. Will update.

    Regarding cancellation of my ticket, I was not able to reach those nos. Finally on digging internet, found no, of Director of CRIS (PRS) & called him on mobile. He was very co-operative & understood my problem & assured me that my ticket will be cancelled & will get refund. I had called from my landline. He called on my registered mobile no. to confirm if its not non-genuine. No reply further but seems my ticket is cancelled.     Good news.... Now, no need to carry E-ticket as per this link. Virtual Ticket will also be allowed with ID card. The circular reads as below... Electronic Reservation Slip (ERS) - The printout in standard specified Performa containing reservation particulars, and instructions for use which can be used by the passenger along with the relevant authorizedIdentification, as travel authority for performing the journey. Virtual Reservation Message (VRM) - A screen-shot of the e-ticket displayed through laptops/palmtops/ Mobile phone is referred as Virtual Reservation Message (VRM). ERS/VRM along with any one of the eight prescribed ID proofs in original and the indication of the passenger(s)' name(s) in the Reservation Chart will authorize the passenger to travel. VRM combined with valid photo-id in original will be treated as an instrument on par with the ERS. ERS/VRM along with one of the eight prescribed proofs of identity in original will also authorize the passenger to enter the platform on the day of journey and he/she will not be required to purchase platform ticket. ERS/VRM along with original id proof will be required to be produced on demand of Ticket Checking Staff on the platform. I am stuck... Want to cancel ticket for departure dt. 7th Aug. booked using this platform. Pls guide what to do. Unable to reach contact nos. given on site... Have dropped mail but still no reply....
  10. In case of GEB, the package from ICC's NY hub to India is shipped through ICC world. Your delivery time will depend on how much the shipments take to reach their NY hub. This is applicable for SNS too. I have personally ordered nearly 6 phones through GEB and they were delivered in 6-7 days. GEB's service is quick and secure. However, it is costly. Even I have ordered lot of stuff from geb successfully n it is really very great n fast. But, as rightly said above, it's bit costly though I always make it a point to use some or other discount coupon n reduce cost. Now, since have paid for sns was willing to try sns. Next best thing wud be to get discount coupons for ebay.com. Rajanbhai, are you listening?

If somehow they are unable to provide you with unlock code, then you can purchase the unlock code on ebay for $29 (auction# 320695163393). I placed the order.. Lets see now.   12. Hi friends. On of my friend's father from raipur is serious n he was brought to mumbai from raipur today morning by air ambulance service of EMSOS. But seems there is nothing much can be done in bombay hospital n he's still on ventilator. I don't know what's the actual problem but now he needs to be transferred back to raipur from mumbai. I want our forum members to guide how this can be done maybe thru train or regular passenger flights rather than chartered ambulance. I checked jet airways site n they don't allow ventilators. This is to be done tomorrow itslef so I m in hurry. Thanks
  13. WRT Dell Venue, was planning to order for friend but had some questions in mind.. 1. Since the one in this post is locked to AT&T, how can I unlock?? 2. Will it work on 3g in India since it is AT&T version? Otherwise, seems very good deal for this price.. There are 3 different prices.. 1st is Rajanbhais calculation 12655/- 2nd is direct ebay.com 303$ (13938/-) & 3rd is ebay global @ 14803/- less 700/- discount coupon. Planning to buy thru geb as it gives protection. I have even registered for SNS a/c but am hesitant to experiment with this one. Will try some low value order 1st n then try SNS.
  14. They already came from Raipur to Mumbai in Air Ambulance services of http://www.emsos.in/. Actually, as I told earlier, I was not present there & had posted it on his behalf as he was already busy in other things... So, I dont know much of it... Had given a thought to it but it could not be done due to availability issues in trains. Finally, they have already started in cardiac ambulance by road today morning & I also met them in afternoon while they were passing from Jalgaon. Thanks friends for all ur wishes & Hope there is some recovery...

    palm pixi is meid based phone. Every meid based phone has its esn too which is not actual esn but pesn (pseudo esn) n this cannot be used while registering with carriers. You need to reg ur meid only n can ignore esn.

Check this Daikin 5* model @ 32300/- (after ICICILB) http://www.letsbuy.com/daikin-ft50g-p-17960 Daikin is known for is good quality & at this price its really a steal. 2-3 months back I had installed Toshiba 5* 1.5ton @ 36500/-. Toshiba is also good but if you are getting Daikin at this cost then definitely go for it.

    Is it possible to get proxy based internet access on palm pixi? Regular internet tariff for Tata is 40 paisa per min where as if we use proxy based (wapuser), then its 10p/10kb. Time based charging doesnt makes sense at all. Is there any way out in TI so that data can be used on basis of volume & not time??

  23. No bad luck as such as it was not for my own use but my friend. Intact 80% of my online purchase are samaj sewa. Have already ordered Alcatel at 1394/- . Will see if it works with bsnl west zone n post here. Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using Tapatalk Had received Alcatel data card long back but forgot to post here that it does not work with BSNL west zone sim. Apart from that, card is good. There is no calling facility. Only SMS is possible. Anyone has workaround for BSNL??? Apart from that, purchased Canon Lasershot LBP2900B from Letsbuy @ 5266/- after RCOMLB1 on 21st morning & got the same on 22nd evening. It was VERY neatly packed & I surely got a very good deal as it wholesales at around 5750/- here in Jalgaon. I feel this is a decent budget laser printer & best part is HP's 15A cartridge is compatible with this printer.
  24. I had bought 1 BB from indiaplaza since its price was 2-3k lower than market price. 1. The phone was shipped by some different seller from Mumbai & not IP. 2. Phone's box was showing marks that it was very old one & also not the one that comes with Redington. (though on listing it was mentioned 18months distributor warranty). 3. Phone did not start up. 4. There was no invoice. Only a delivery note mentioning name of seller. I googled & found his no. On calling he didnt responded properly. 5. Finally, took advantage of IP 7 day moneyback policy & got my money back. They also sent a chq for shipping claim which i used to send them phone back to their bangalore office, after 3 months. All in all, i would not prefer buying from IP. Ebay seems better since there are seller ratings & paisa pay protection. Just wait for some coupon or gift & u are surely going to get better deal.
