Hello.. We are 3 couples with 3 kids below 5yrs planning for trip to Nainital planned as per below schedule... 26th morning reaching to NDLS & spend in Delhi 27th Spend in Delhi 28th Morning Start to Nainital by Innova, 29 & 30 Stay Nainital 1st Checkout & off to Corbett & night stay. 2nd After Jungle Safari depart to Delhi. Night stay at Delhi 3rd Afternoon departing flight from IGI. I need suggestions as to below points:- 1. Is our plan correct or shud there be some modification. 2. For Our stay in Delhi for 26 & 27 as well as 2, what activities can be tried out?? 3. What area should be preferred in for staying & good family AC hotels in budget of 1000-1200 Rs. (EP). I have sorted out Ginger @ 1250/- per night. 4. Good Hotel in Nainital in budget of max 5000/-. I have already checked Vikram Vintage, Manu Maharani, Naini Retreat, Arif Castles, etc but all are above 7k per night per room. Any other option equivalent in 5k budget?? 5. Same as point no. 4 for Corbett. I have checked some options in 3k range. But do not know what is best. If our members can suggest some good names?? 6. Regarding 4 & 5, is it ok if we go there & find / book hotels since those are weekdays n not weekends?? Will it make substantial difference? 7. Any contact no. for Innova?? I have got quote of 12/km & 200rs per day for Driver + toll + parking at actual. Anything better than this?? 8. While returning, we would reach from Corbett to Delhi till evening & we have flight on 3rd evening at 5pm. Any 24hr check out hotel around IGI so that we can extract full benefit? For point no. 2 i would be happy if much details can be shared like must visit places keeping in mind that we are with kids. I have been to Red Fort & other historical monuments 12 yrs back but they never pleased me. Still, my other friends have not visited so we can cover some of them which are really exclusive. We have finalized below prog after too much of discussion within our group & negotiations with hotels... 26/06 Reach NDLS by 3pm. Catch train to Ramnagar (for Corbett) from Old Delhi at 10pm. 27/06 Reach RMR. Booked Hotel Leela Vilas @ 18000/- which includes 3 rooms for 1 night, pickup at RMR stn, all meals, jungle safari, taxes & drop to Nainital on 28/06. 28/06 Reach Nainital. Booked Hotel Classic The Mall @ 10600/- for 3 room cottage per night includes all taxes only. 29/06 Nainital 30/06 We have not planned yet whether to stay one more day in NNT or visit Kausani as our sole purpose is to spend quality time with friends/family & kids. If we feel theres nothing much left in Nainital, we will transfer to Kausani. 01/07 Checkout respective hotel & board train to Delhi at 3pm from Kathgodam. Reach Anand Vihar Railway Stn at 10pm & check into some hotel. 02/07 Shopping in delhi 03/07 Flight at 5pm. Now, i need to clear some doubts as below. 1. We have to catch train to Ramnagar (for corbett) from Old Delhi. need advice on any dharamshala or some good place around Chandani Chowk for getting fresh & spending time till 10pm???) Dont wish to spend too much amount on this component. 2. Also, since we would be reaching NDLS, is it possible to travel from NDLS to Chandani Chowk thru Metro taking too much of luggage?? Its not possible in Mumbai to carry luggage & kids in local train so asking. 3. While returning, we would arrive at Anand Vihar. What would be most proper area to spend 2 nights considering we wish to do some Delhi darshan & some shopping on 02/07 & 03/07 & also go to Airport there after? I feel we should travel to New Delhi & stay in Ginger Hotel (Rs.1232/- per night per room) for those 2 nights. If my plan is correct, how do we travel to New Delhi from Anand Vihar since if our train gets late, we wont get Metro. 4. What would be best place for shopping for ladies. I am asking through reasonable cost point of view & not the premium stores. There is nothing specific to shop but just that we have come to Delhi, would like to do bit of it. I hope my questions are not tooo silly... Thanks in advance for quick & relevant replies.

In that case we wud prefer travelling to kathgodam by ranikhet exp (provided we get confirm tickets in tatkal) overnite n then arrange innova there since we don't prefer travelling in car overnight sply when thr r kids alongwith. Will discuss on this.

@dk, I forgot to mention in my 1st reply. Hotel grand was already full when I called yesterday. Will talk on number given by you tomo. @genius, I had thot of it. So, in my existing plan if I add 2nd night in corbet, what is max time I have to leave corbet to reach delhi airport? Flight dep time is 5pm on 3rd. Thanks.

Actually I didnt wanted to take risk. Last time I bought IDEA Netsetter unlocked & it wouldnt connect to BSNL but all others. Then, it came to my notice on various forums & google that huewai cards (idea branded) do not work with BSNL west zone (check this postwith its lengthy solution). On the other hand, bsnl sells micromax & it works wery well here (west zone). Hence, I opted for micromax. Still, will try to experiment with risk of Rs.1400/- & see if alcatel works or not for future... But for that have to accumulate some funds 1st... BTW thanks for sharing...

Wow... Ordered Wildfire S on friday & got the delivery on monday itself. Guy, its really a cool device & gingerbird does have some difference. HTC Sense adds to the show. I am happy to buy HTC over Samsung. Price wise, it costs around 1k less than Samsung ACE & only notable difference is 1250mah battery & 600 mhz processor. But, still, i feel it wins over galaxy ace. On positive side, its resolution is better than ace, it has 512 mb ram 512 mb rom. All in all a very good deal. Thanks Rajanbhai for ICICILB or else I would have spent 200rs more thru RCOMLB1. Rajanbhai is really keeda in finding deals.. XCD35 seems better than fit / 5510 in terms of screen size, resolution, ram. But, still have some doubts. 1. Lets buy link shows OS as 2.1 but dell site shows 2.2. Any idea as to new it will be 2.2 or any info on how to update. I googled & all said I have to send to service center at Mumbai, Pune or Nagpur. Bit tedious task!! 2. Does it features smart dialing as in samsung phones??? Like to call Rajanbhai, it just can find his name by dialing 72526 & all names in this combination will be filtered or not?? I really missed this feature on my old galaxy spica. Though can install dialer one for the same but still was curious. No other doubt but just the fact its dell (& not samsung with one of the highest market share) so getting resale would be on a lower side. As per my recent knowledge (source : mail received by my friend who owes TATA Gallery) Blackberry as now appointed Brightpoint India as their National distributors for CDMA phones which were earlier sold thru TATA & Reliance. Due to this arrangement, availability has improved & prices have also become competitive. If no option is available, I would like to settle down for 8530 with 399/- BIS plan. Also, one more question is, BIS offered by TATA as well as Reliance @ 399/- is applicable even for EVDO?? or there is any extra rent for EVDO BIS?? PS. If anyone needs Bright point dealer's numbers for Pune as well as Mumbai, I can provide the same. I had talked to mumbai guy & for 8530 he gave me DP of Rs.13761/-.

Hello friends once again... Just yesterday activated my TATA number on BB8530. Got it from local pune store for 13700/-. Activation Process:- 1. My friend at TATA Jalgaon sent mail to concerned officer with my BB Pin / MEID & Plan i.e. Gold 399 (unlimited mails & 10gb browsing free. Tethered usage @ 0.50/mb) 2. Since my friend was out of town, he gave me number of concerned office. That person raised necessary SR & gave me MIN no. & SPC & my number was activated in no time. 3. Recd sms confirming my BIS was activated. Also recd SMS that HSIA (EVDO) was activated but cud not check as we dont have evdo coverage. 4. Configured all things & now UP with BIS / BBM. Initial feel of handset is good. No issues as such. Only thing, when my no., was not activated & I was using WIFI for browsing, handset was restarting by itself. Now no such problem. Transferred all my contacts thru Google Sync & works fine. Now I have few questions.. 1. As per my plan, 10gb browsing is free. Tethered browsing is charged @ 0.5/mb. So, if I use apps such as NGPAY / Opera mini / Google Sync / Blackberry Apps / Dropbox, etc. will it be considered as free or chargeable?? 2. I want to see all my gmail labels but cant find them. Any hints? 3. Have few more questions but dont remember now. Will post them as I remind. Thanks in advance.

Got BB8530 from local store for TATA @ 13700/-. Activated my number on it along with BIS. Working fine. Also, recd SMS that HSIA (EVDO) also activated. Unfortunately dont have EVDO in our town so cant comment on it. 1x is ok.

^^^^^ Had sent an email to MNP head of Maharashtra for TTML (got his email id from my source in TI). Email sent on 19th Evening along with all my paid bills copies & mp3 files of my conversation with Nodal officers of TI & TD. 20th Morning recd call from some Sheila n she referred mail sent to MNP head.. She called herself as a member of escalation team. Said that there was outstanding of 19/- towards my old operator & hence this happened. I could not understand how is it possible as my old a/c is still active with one more number & its 2 bills have been already paid after porting. Infact, I have habit of paying bills on day of generation itself. Anyways she said will waive my 19/- & start no. ASAP max till tomo i.e. 21. & also penalize operators who talked to me on Nodal's no. On 21 morning, recd her call that no is active. Check & sim got registered by incoming n outgoing still barred. She again called at 1pm & services restored fully. All in all, i feel operators can do everything n know everything but dont want to do anything. below is my mail sent to MNP head which made wonders.
