Hey friends, check out my unique porting experience... Dates accuracy is +/- 3-4 days as issue has become old. 02/02/2011 Applied for port out from TATA Indicom to TATA Docomo 13/02/2011 Porting process completed successfully & no glitches in making n receiving calls. Real mess starts here.. Till around 1st week of april, number was working correctly. Suddenly around 4th April, outgoing stopped. On checking got to know that there is outstanding on donor operator. Now, in TATA Indicom, my account had 2 numbers & out of which I had ported 1 which was done successfully in FEB itself & till april I had paid 2 other bills of the same a/c no. Its ridiculous to hear that there was outstanding that too after 2 odd months. Somehow outgoing got started. Again around 10th April, outgoing stopped. This time, my friend in TATA suggested it may be SIM problem so we changed the sim but same problem. Then he said my docs were missed by company along with other 20000 customer's docs & all those 20k nos. outgoing has been barred. I re-submitted the docs. Yesterday, even incoming stopped & if you call it says, pls check the number. On raising the complain, reason received was Port out rejected by donor operator. Its highly ridiculous that port out is rejected after 2 months. That too both the companies are same. I dont understand what should I do. Thanks to my wife (whose number is this) for she is keeping herself cool till now!!! Apart from sending mail to Nodal officer & Deptt. Of Telecom ddgpg-dot@nic.in TRAI ca@trai.gov.in is there anything else that I can do???

Nokia 6275 is cdma 1x phone n 3g aka evdo will not work on it. You have to choose new omh base phones from Samsung or lg which support evdo for using 3g. Sent from my GT-I5700 using Tapatalk

Hello friends... I am having problem with my LG - HS201 LED projector. Since last 8-10 days, there are white dots on projected image. I tried to clean the glass but no use. Also, the dots are dynamic. Means, when we start there are too many of them n that too black in colour n later on they become white. I am unable to understand the problem. The projector was brought from US so cant claim warranty. Does anybody has any idea of problem n solution?? I have attached some pics for reference. Thanks

I cud not find the cause.. I am claiming warranty on the same & will send it to USA. Have logged the call & just waiting for some one to travel. It has 2 yrs warranty valid upto April 2012.

Hello Rimwebians... I had purchased LG HS 201 LED Projector last year in April from Amazon.com & got it shipped by my friend. As per my investigations on this problem have come to conclusion that pixels have been burnt. My friend had logged a call in LG USA & they sent him a FEDEX shipping label for pickup. Also, they have confirmed that it is under 2 yrs warranty which is valid till April 2012. I want to send the same to USA. Had talked with www.iccworld.com & they quoted around 1500 INR for this 1.5kg to be shipped to US. I sent the same to their office but not they are denying that there is some problem with electronics & they cant guarantee its delivery & the shipment may return back. Can anyone help me on the same?? I am ready to pay around 1.5k. I want it to be delivered to Rhode Island at my friend's place.

Aramex also denied electronics Fedex is giving pickup & drop from Pune all inclusive @ 3081/- & wants me to do numerous documentation. Keeping it as last option.

Mods, though i am posting this off the topic but this is some what related & also this being most active TS post, I opted to post here. If reqd, can be transferred to a new post. I have TS+ SD since last more than a year. Recently I am facing a problem in recording series linked episodes. When I series link Taarak Mehta ka..... on SAB TV, which is aired at 8.30 pm Mon to Fri. Now the real problem is, all the episodes of the serial (by all i mean all repeat telecast also get recorded & PLAN menu completely gets messed up. Have to delete all of them manually. I am not able to understand the reason behind the same. Also, one thing to be noted is this happens only with Taarak Mehta... Papad Pol & Balika Wadhu are also set for recording in series link & they get recording properly. As usual, CC guys dont even understand the problem. I have tried formatting the disk, factory reseting the device & all. Has any one faced similar problem??? Any solution??? Also, if no one is aware of the problem, request TS+ (SD as well as HD) users to try recording & series linking Tarak Mehta on 113 channel at 8.30 pm & let me know. If this issue is with TS programming, then will send mail to higher authorities. Thanks in advance.

Have talked to pune service centre guy... he tells its problem with pcb n that those pixels are burnt. that pcb cant be changed n need to change full lens unit. He will tell approx cost on monday. in the mean time, have sent mail to LG USA. Lets see their reply...
