Handset Launches - News Snippets

Launch of MOTO E Source: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Motorola-Moto-E-Launching-in-India-on-May-13-for-Rs-8499-440708.shtml Good news for Android fans in India, as the Motorola's upcoming smartphone, the Moto E, is said to go on sale the same day it is revealed. Motorola Mobility confirmed last week that it would introduce another Android smartphone on May 13. Even though the US-based company did not reveal the name of the device, according to a few leaks from different sources, the smartphone that Motorola plans to launch next week is called Moto E. The affordable smartphone will be officially introduced during two press events in London, UK, and New Delhi, India. According to AndroidOS, Motorola Moto E will be available for purchase the moment it goes official. But there is more to it. Motorola Moto E has been recently spotted on Indian import data website Zauba, along with its model numbers and approximate price tag. It appears that there will be three Moto E variants launched on the market, though we're not yet sure whether or not all will be available in India as well. Anyway, the Moto E single-SIM variant is listed at Zauba as Motorola XT1021, while the dual-SIM version is known as XT1022. A third Moto E model features dual-SIM with digital TV and is codenamed Motorola XT1025. Motorola previously teased the Moto E as a smartphone “priced for all” and the listing on Zauba provides the confirmation that this handset will be even cheaper than the Moto G, which is extremely popular among Android fans in India. So, the import documents on Zauba mention that the Moto E will be available for prices between Rs 7,999 ($130 / €95) and 8,499 ($140 / €100) outright. Given the fact that there will be different versions of Moto E available on the market, it makes sense to have different price tags. Still, take these numbers with a grain of salt until Motorola officially introduces the Moto E in India. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk -

Dear friends, I recently bought LG OG LS970 from Tarun Kabra ji. I want to share here my immediate observation about this handset as below--- +Positive things as per me: + It's very smooth in touch as well as quick in operations with 2 gb RAM and 32 gb Internal Memory + It's really slim, compact and light for the given 4.7 inches display + Having less number of inbuilt apps + Default SMS app is capable of sending group sms for Upto 40 contacts at a time + Quick memo function available which I find a unique way of noting down on call info and putting some text on photos, pictures etc + File Sharing function seems good thru wifi (though I have not utilised it so far) + Display brightness it's good even at 50% Brightness level -Improvement areas as per me: - Camera flash Auto function does not perform the way it should be. Also the camera quality is not upto the mark for 13 mp camera - Any picture seen by zooming is really disappointing in terms of sharpness quality of the picture - My handset is getting hot when continuously used online - Not able to update it above OS 4.1.2, every time I got error when tried - For me battery does not last for the day when data connection is always on Friends please share your views and also suggest solutions (if any) for my improvement area issues. I am using Reliance CDMA since 2003, but recently I have changed my job and my new employer offers Monthly reimbursement of mobile bill, but only if I take Airtel connection. Please suggest me the minimum rental plan in CDMA, so that I can continue the existing cdma number also without the burden of additional bill. My current average monthly bill is around Rs.600, which includes 600 local min free to other network, R & R Unlimited Free, Unlimited (6000 for the month) SMS free and 1 GB Evdo data. Requesting suggestion from fellow members. Thanks in advance. Sent from my LG-LS970 using Tapatalk
