Dear All, Recently I bought Samsung Google Nexus S 4G CDMA. After activation of EVDO, overall I am getting good net speed with EVDO signals. But in my residing area the EVDO signals are very weak and most of the time I am getting 1x Signals only. Its really disappointing when I use net with 1x signals. I have complained this to rcom also but there was no improvement in evdo signals except the promises from customer care. I request all the experienced members here to suggest me any remedy to boost the EVDO Signals within my residence as I am not expecting much from reliance customer service regarding this issue. I am residing in Ambernath, Dist-Thane, Maharashtra. Awaiting some good remedies/solution to boost the evdo signals. Regards, Sadaband Sapkal

I have noticed that my Phone's Root Access has been disabled recently. Is it after Jelly Bean update... I have verified Root Access thru Root Checker Apps, the result shows that "Sorry! This device does not have proper root access" Do I need to Root my phone again... Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2 -

I have few queries in this regards--- > What will happen If I don't install the STB by 1-Nov as my Cable Operator has not approached me yet for STB... > Whether I should go with my cable operator's arrangement or I should purchase a open market Dish Connection... Which option is more reasonable... > What is the approximate expenses for this switching... Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2 -
Reliance NetConnect+ Plans - My Best Plans - Usage based plans
sadanand.sapkal replied to rajanmehta's topic in Data services
@ Mobile Fan, pls share the details of your Sweet 250 plan... Is it applicable for CDMA... Is it postpaid or prepaid... I would also like to know whether it is advisable to convert my 9.5 years postpaid CDMA connection to prepaid, after seeing the increased usage of data as well as voice within my same range postpaid bill... Currently I am subscribed to below mentioned billing parameters--- > PPS 199 (where I get 15000 seconds free calling for a month, post which I have been charged 1.2 Paise per second) > On Net 99 ( R to R Unlimited Local calling) > SMS Pack of Rs.25 (for max possible SMS as per TRAI) > Data plan of 247 which gives 1 GB EVDO per month Pls suggest a good plan in postpaid for above charges with increased free usage or prepaid combination... I am using GO SMS Pro apps since couple of months & the prime reason to use this apps is sending Group SMS. But since last few updates I am facing some issues about functioning of this apps, like--- 1. I have created Group of 55 Phone Book entries. I regularly send SMS to this group. Previously when I select the Group for sending SMS, the app automatically direct me to a window where I need to select the exact numbers to send SMS to the persons having multiple numbers saved against there name. It was very easy to do that, but now when I select a Group it directly adds all the saved numbers against the persons who has multiple numbers saved against their names. Its really annoying to check the whole Added names & uncheck the non required numbers for multiple numbered persons before sending the message. Pls guide me how to go back to the previous version or any settings in the current version to fix my issue. 2. When I am sending SMS to the group of 55 person, the apps is continuously showing a pop up notification mentioning "GO SMS Pro is sending a large number of sms messages. Do you want to allow this app to continue sending message." And for every SMS after first 30 group members, I need to click on Allow to send the further messages. Is there any settings to allow sending SMS to large number of groups (at least 100 persons group) without having the problem to click on Allow for each SMS after certain number of messages. I have enquired with GO Team, but they have not replied. I am sure I can get some solution to my problem from forum. I would also like to know whether there is any other apps which is as good as GO SMS Pro without my raised issues. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

Finally I have found some manual adjustment/compromise to solve my problem for using Group messaging thru GO SMS PRO Only--- > I have created new contact entry with the desired contact number for every contact which is having multiple numbers & needs to a member of my group SMS. > I have created multiple groups of 30 members max for each group. > I send the SMS to a group of 30 member & reboot my mobile after sending SMS to each group. By doing this I got rid of my problems mentioned in first post. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

I have installed & used Handcent Application today morning. In first look, Its almost same as GO SMS Pro. My first issue (about multiple number selection) has been solved in Handcent. But my second issue of Notification coming for allowing each time to send messages after 30 messages is there in Handcent also. The pop up notification just changed the name from GO SMS to Handcent. I am not sure but I think this problem started after Jelly Bean update in my phone... So it may be because of the JB & not the application error... Anybody else facing this group message sending problem after JB update? Pls suggest the settings to get rid of the group SMS sending issue. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

Thanks pabitrak5, I will try Handcent app. Actually I was little hesitant to go for handcent after reading some reviews that it slow down the mobile when number of SMS increases.

I have searched web for the solution to my problems mentioned in first post about using GO SMS PRO, but unable to get any solution for the same. Now thinking to Uninstall GO SMS. But before Uninstalling, I would like to request forum members to suggest any other good application which can be compatible for sending the group SMS to the groups created in my Phone Contacts. Must Have Android Apps For Your Smartphone - Part II
sadanand.sapkal replied to rajanmehta's topic in Android
I have tried to install M-Indicator many times on my Nexus S 4G, but I was not successful. Every time after installation it asks for my location & after entering my location it automatically directs to one message sending notification, but every time the message fails to deliver saying that I have not sufficient balance to send the message. I am on postpaid plan then how the message is not getting delivered is the big question... Because of this problem I am not able to install M-Indicator. I have tried to raise this to the developer thru mail but not received any reply. Can anybody solve my above problem... Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2- 1,081 replies

Dear friends, I am using Nexus S 4G from last 4 months. But since last couple of days the below mentioned network related Notification is appearing on phone's home page continuously as soon as I unlock the phone--- "Network error, please check the network!" Though I have not observed any abnormalities while using the phone, still I would like to know the probable reasons for this notification and how to get rid of it. Friends please help me to resolve above issue. Thanks in advance. Regards, Sadanand Sapkal Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2 -
