Operator Ti-ups with manufacturers limits number of models . All CDMA operators must bring RUIM models and encourage manufacturers sell thier phones in open market like gsm phones. Today there is no good Mediaum and Hi-end mobiles availabe in india. Very good CDMA handsets available in US, Korea etc.. PALM First introduced Tre 650 in CDMA and leter in GSM I think reliance has no plans to bring Hi-end models. They are stick to low end Lg models (all lg models introduced recently don't have atleast Rconnect facility)

RIMWEB is best place for clarifications on rim sevices where RIM,CC and Relianceinfo.com faild. From its begining RIM is hard to undrestand. Now a days Rim creates lot of confusion by introducing lot of schemes for different circles.

TATA encourages RUIM. All New phones in TATA have RUIM. Tata has more RUIM phones then Reliance. Nowadays TATA lunching more Handsets, Schemes, Services then reliance and their handsets are afordable then reliance Ratan Tata also eager to implement EvDo and ofered 1500 Crore as a fee for 3G license To telecom ministry. I Think only CDMA operators can bring 3G services to Consumers @ affordable price point. If 3G license go to GSM they chrge very high from subscribers.

Good coments kesav! Government must resolve 3G issues as early as possible and must allow CDMA operator to lunch best technologies like EvDo. EvDo is very good for small and medium BPOs/Software firms and individual professionals.

Is lg RD2430 supports R-connect? Plz clarify my doubt. previous posts in rimweb says no R-Connect facility availble in lg rd 2430. and relienceinfo.com not mantioned about r-connect on lg2430.
