Finally got the Mini Yesterday evening . I met Ranga Prasad at Aqtronics and got a decent deal for the Mini. Rs 7500, and it's worth every penny. With a firmware upgrade, it seems to have most of the features ( from the SW point of view ) as with the PlayOn. It plays nearly every damm thing thrown at it, with exceptions(H264 with over 12 reference frames), but heck yeah, how often do you encounter videos with specs like this, LOL ! It functions amazingly as a NAS, and also provides support for external optical drives( Available only with a Firmware upgrade). I only have a problem trying to get to access my shares from my Win7 notebook ( Yeah I did try everything that was mentioned in the How To guide on the AC Ryan Forum). Any other help on this would be greatly appreciated :-) Oh ..yeah .. the 7.5k did not include the N dongle.

Any Idea how much would it cost ??

1) How much did it cost you to buy it in India ?? - 10500/ 2) Did the chap from AqTronic give you any kinda discount ? - The actual cost was 14500 3) (Touch Wood)If this device goes crappy for any reason, is it covered by a guarantee ? He quoted Rs 12500 for the Playon HD including the wifi Dongle and Rs 7700 for the Mini. Did you need to bargain hard on the price or did he offer it to you for Rs 10500 at the first shot itself. Nice ! This looks neat. I was evaluating a whole bunch of different HD media players. I was kinda really confused between the WDTV Live & The ACRyan. The more I read about the PlayOn! The more I realize that this is way way better.
