It's not form korea.rather it's a china made phone.china made phones are good phones,sound and battery very good.but software is unstable.so think twice before buying.

Seems to be a very good phone for that price.does it support 3rd party software?also what is the os?if it's korean it's ok.china made phones are unstable.

Hello all.i congratulate all buddies on the happy anniversary of our loved rim web and also wish a merry christmas to all.when i look back to the day when i joined rimweb and this day i find myself a lot wiser in a lot of subjects.although i post not very often yet i follow all topics and posts regularly.i don't feel any shame to say that i knew almost nothing about many things before coming here.i shall always remain grateful to all learned members and rimweb.LONG LIVE RIMWEB.

I second it.although opera mini doesn't support direct downloading yet it directs the download through Wap.also it compresses the data by about 75%.so the data traffic is also comparable to that of the Wap browser with the added advantage of a full browser.actually i have subscribed the unlimited r world pack.so whatever i browse or download is totally free and i pay 249 bucks plus tax per month.i am able to browse almost all sites.the speed is also very good.

With opera mini you don't have to in to any Wap site.it doesn't support it.rather it ornms the full site itself.you can easily download many applications exon river like www.getjar.com,www.mobile9.com,www.mobango.com etc.enjoy yourself.

That's rightly said.unless all are forced to surrender the excess spectrum held by them,the fight must in on.otherwise these greedy people will not spend anything to upgrade their vintage technology.they must be brought to their knees.they are thinking that they can eat the able and have it too.

Yes,that's right.they are erecting towers and other needed infrastructure in advance,so that they can start their service as soon as they get the spectrum allocation.even others like vodaphone are also doing the same.in my place they are erecting a tower although they haven't been allocated any spectrum as yet in orissa.

Really,what an update!laymen like us knew nothing about these technical things.also now a days terms like wcdma,umts,hqdpa,rev 0,rev a,etc are doing the sounds.most of all don't know about then.can anybody please throw some light on them?

This facility was there in the past in reliance,but was withdrawn from 20th dec 2006 so far i remember.i cann't tell about other circles,but it was there in orissa.id it's being reintroduced then it's very good news.

My dear friend,we the cdma users are the step children of handset manufacturers.all feature rich phones are only for gsm users.even in case of nokia the best phone i.e. 6265/75 lack a flash lite player.where as the gsm varient 6233 has it.it has also got dual speakers,which we don't have in ours'.actually unless service providers want to provide good feature rich handsets to their users,why will the manufacturers produce them?and cdma operators globally have learnt how to milk their clients by providing them with nearly obsolate handsets.but for the low call charges most of us would migrate to gsm.

No,you can download other stuff also like ring tones,themes,wall papers,screen savers etc. Using opera mini.but the list does here.you can browse all sites.

Hi all 6275 users!today i found a very good media player in jar format at www.mobango.com in the software section.you have to log in to be able to download anything.it's name is java real player.3 players have been included in one.1 nagesh player 2 all media player and 3 n real player.so far i haven't been successful to use the first and last ones.but the all media player is working like anything.it can play songs and videos of many formats.even you can creat your own play lists.of course there no equalizer.but it's working great.the sound output is also very good.some times back i had extracted the audio from some old songs in 3gp format and had loaded to the card.but the in built player didn't recognise the songs in 3gp format.so i had to play them one at a time.but to my surprise they are also opening with it and i can add any no of songs to a play list and play them continuously.in 3gp format a 5 mb mp 3 song occupies only about 300 space without compromising in sound quality.so friends download the application and enjoy.you may be able to use the other two players also. P.s. Moderators please forgive me for not posting this in the relevent section.i thought that if i posted there some may miss it.that's why i chose to post it in a new topic.always you can merge this with the original topic.thanks

What are hard pause and time pause?

My dear friend this phone is not uim enabled.also there is no space to solder the uim tray.as of now nobody has been able to crack this nut.even our great hetal bhai has given up and got it activated in tata network.so no hope.

I could download small video files from mobile9 easily but couldn't do it with larger files.i haven't faced any problem so far with themes and have downloaded hundreds of them from mobile9 and own skin ranging from 64 kb to 2.2 mb in size.

I have downloaded jar and nth files successfully using opera mini 4.but am yet to try any song image,or video file.i hope ring tones can be downloaded,but not sure about full songs as they occupy large space and reliance doesn't allow downloading files larger than 500 kb except for themes where one can download files larger than 2 mb.i myself have done it without any problem.

Kudos to the team of DOCTORS who performed the delicate operation at Sparsh hospital,Bangalore on a 2 year old girl LAXMI.i hope the whole nation must have followed this great event.let's congratulate those doctors,technicians,nurses and all other support staff who made this possible.

That's quite right.but opera mini 4 doesn't support that also.only you can browse the net using it.using ornpa mini 3 you can in directly open any Wap link given as a link in a site.where as version 4 doesn't support this feature.even opera mini mod 2 en also supports it with many extra features.
