My dear friend i have also tried to download from sites like mobile9 using opera mini 4,but haven't been successful.i think this browser doesn't support download.has any body been successful in downloading using opera mini 4?please update.

No it's not a leaked version.but somebody has integrated the kd player with other two.the kd player only is working.you can find many versions of kd player in various forum.also you can get it at it's site,which i don't remember.but you can find it through google.the site of kd player is www.kdpro.dev.juga.ru here you can get the latest version both erglish as well as russian.

But the head of samsung india has specifically been quoted in the above article that they will target the mid and high end market.if it's true then how can they cater to the need of those people as a major portion of mid segment and all of the high segment use web.so i hope those handsets will be web enabled and the carriers eg reliance and tata both will have no alternative than allowing those sets to access the web.let's wait and watch.

For the last 5 days i am facing a peculiar problem.i can open almost all sites using opera mini.but some are not opening,but were opening previously,and the error message is '503-service unavailable."even when i try to download any application using Wap the same error message is coming.has anybody also faced similar problem?data refresh request and removing of battery hasn't worked.can anybody please help of out?

no,there is no such software for this as yet.

But like tata they can also do that stealthily.after all by doing so they will definitely win all of us over.it will be a win win situation for both. So why not give it a try?

Why not all of us flood Anil Ambani with mails demanding that foreign esn phones be activated on reliance network like tata.if he gets thousands of mails on the same subject definitely he will be forced to think in that line.but first of all all of us have to know his email id,which is known to many of our friends and i request them to post it here for others information.thanks

Opera mini mod 2 english version as well as opera mini 2.but if at all we download anything it is through the Wap browser.so i think there is some thing wrong with Wap or reliance has blocked it as it was working fine some days ago and suddenly stopped working. no wap site is opening now.so no download.

Mr.DO.you are most welcome to this great forum.but please note that this is basically a forum devoted exclusively to reliance mobile.others are just add ons.all the phones you have mentioned are very very good sets,but most unfortunately they cann't be used here in reliance network.yes they work in tata.but that is not the solution.our genius HETAL has also not been successful to crack them as yet.so i would like to request you to first make them reliance compatible and then sell here.that way you will get a vast market.otherwise i think there is little hope of success through this forum unless there occurs a mass migration of reliance users to tata.these are my personal feelings which may vary from others.thanks

May be you are right.but in my experience in orissa cdma has better reach.my native place is situated in a far away place near chatisgarh boarder where there is no mobile service.as it is a hilly area surrounded by thick forest there is not even land line service available.so whenever i visit the place i used to switch off the phone.but once i forgot to do so and to my utter surprise i found signal there.the nearest reliance tower in orissa is 25 km away and is blocked by hills.so i checked the service area of the signal.it was from raigarh a town in chatisgarh about 30 km away.although i go into roaming,still i remain connected at such a remote place.so definitely cdma has longer reach.it is cheaper'regarding data speed,in Mumbai airtel uses the 1800 mhz band rather than 900 band,which is more suited for data transfer.ask anybody from delhi or any other place where airtel uses 900 band.there the speed is definitely slower even if edge is enabled there'reliance is using the 800 band and is able to give 144 kbps speed without any add on like edge.if it uses the 1800 band i think it's data speed will double without the use of any add on like evdo.edge is called 2.75 G.so we should not compare it with 2g.regarding call drop issue i shall only say that since 2002 i am using using reliance and have experienced congestion or drop on very rare occasions.voice quality is definitely better.call drops and network congestion is regular in all gsm networks.specially in the evening one may not get connection for hours in gsm networks.there are my observations based on my experience of 5 years of cdma usage.but it may vary circle to circle.so techies may throw more light on this.thanks

Does it support third party software insulation?

All other gsm operators' technology as well as equipments are now old and not that much efficient and take more bandwidth for a single user.but as reliance is entering just now it will definitely come up with the latest technology and equipment available in the market which will allow it to provide better and efficient service to it's subscribers.even it will be more cost efficient.so reliance can be in a position to declare a price war from the very out set,which will definitely hurt the older operators deeply.but it will undoubtedly benefit the users on the large.so let's welcome it.

If it's true it's a great news.although reliance is the first company to provide mobile service in orissa it hasn't started gprs.it's call charges are cheaper than others.but due to lack of any data plan people are forced to go for other networks.now i hope as reliance has got clearance to roll out it's gsm network all over india,it will surely roll out edge based system everywhere.otherwise it cann't compete with others and it will also come to orissa also.after that i plan to switch to reliance gsm,there by there will not be any handset constraint.let's hope for the best.

But my dear friend such feature rich handsets are only to be admired by reliance users like us.yes we can hope to be able to use them if it is Uim enabled or some techie like Hetal bhai or Sadiq bhai cracks it for us.

Good morning Ashok bhai.May be the 1mb memory will suffice the phone function.but what about the pda functions?isn't the on board memory ridiculously low for a pda?also you have mentioned that although it theoritically supports 3rd party software loading, (which is minimum requirement of all pda)you have mentioned that you have not been able so far to load any software to the phone.also you have said that the os isn't wm based.so can you through some light on the os please?if it is a china developed os then nobody can vouch for it.

perhaps there is none for these two phones.gsm sets like 6233 and 6300 are equipped with it,but not these two although both are pricier than the gsm counterpart 6233.no clock theme works due to the lack of flash.
