I am using custom roms of different builds by various chefs since the porting of wm 6.5 to vogue.Currently I am using B Rom v.2.0,which can be found from xda as well as ppcgeeks forum.This is a wm 6.5.5 rom sys 23569.Also it's a bare bone generic rom.So it's blazing fast and customizable. Although there are some minor bugs,still I prefer these custom roms for the ease of use and personalization.Of course this is my personal opinion.

Really a very good move by trai.Now we are being compelled to pay for all channels although more than half of them are unwanted.Now we will be able to choose what we really want to watch.

Everything is there at xda developers forum.Just search for what you need.Now camera and blue tooth have also started to work.I have not tried it though.

Actually Vogue,Mogul and Diamond all are now running android successfull,thanks to xda developers.It can both be run from the internal memory as well as the storage card.There are many roms available there with detail how to guide.

You can go to security in the settings menu.There u will find options for locking the phone at various levels.You can choose one.The default password is 12345. Hope this helps.

Hi friends.After reading and reading in the xda forum about using Android on Vogue,I am tempted to try it out.I want to try the NAND process where the os is replaced. But the only thing deterring me is browser activation.There the data provisioning cabs of Hetal and Mufaddal won't work But as android phones are now beingused our techies will surely be able to help me out. Has anybody tried android in his Vogue or Mogul?If so,please post their experience. here.

Yes,it's very easy to revert back to win mo.One has to just flash a custom wm rom.But before flashing android,I need the data provisioning procedures.

Those handsets were banned since long.But this time the govt has banned china manufactured telecom equipments used by operators.Apparently there is an intelligence report that those equipments contain spyware and/or malware which can give access to our telecom networks right from china.If this is true it's really a security threat.If even half true,I am with the govt.
