  5. Anyone care to explain how exactly ICS did not live up to the expectations? It is barely runs 5 % of total Android devices and already have everyone's attention. Speed of OS version roll-out and adoption is totally different matter, over which Google have minimal control and I don't see how that is going to change with Jellybeans or even Zebra Cake!

    ^ ^ ^ false news. The link shows an image of Replenish that was released in US by Sprint last year. Don't think it is ever going to make it to Indian shores and that too carrying a price tag of 5K, which is inconsistent with the pricing strategy of Samsung.

    Good news : Motorola confirms ICS update for Photon. No exact dates announced but expect them to roll out in Q3 of 2012. Indeed, phones getting the update in Q3 may be just in time to see the next improved version of Android get released

    HTC provided an update to its Ice Cream Sandwich update strategy on its Facebook page. "HTC has been working hard to get its Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades ready, and we're excited to announce that our first round of ICS upgrades will roll out by the end of March for the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XE, followed soon there after by the HTC Sensation XL," the company said.

Bahrain Telecom (BATELCO), a shareholder in new operator STel whose licences have been cancelled by the Supreme Court last week, became the first global firm to exit the Indian telecom market by selling its nearly 43% stake for USD 175 million. Reacting to the development, STel said Bahrain Telecom (Batelco) was "very uneasy" in India and expressed the wish to sell its stake.     ^ ^ ^ Photon = Best Global phone available now. Since he isn't looking for global capabilities it was not suggested. And S 2 blows away Photon in almost every department. I can say this for certain, as I am using both

    Speculation is rampant that the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S 3 will make its debut in the coming months. Of course, it will be priced way beyond your budget. But one can expect a sharp drop in the older S 2's price to follow. So my suggestion - wait a little more and go in for S 2 itself.

    You can go in for Samsung Galaxy Pop @ 8.5K but if your budget is on a shoestring, you can instead opt for like new/used Pop available in our Buy/Sell bazaar. I think member Krishna Tungal is offering one.
