    @ndr696969. I ordered the Boost Moto G again from GEB from i2c since they had already processed the refund for the last cancelled order. This time I spoke to them & they confirmed that if You give 'no complaint undertaking', they would fulfil the order. I've sent them a mail. Fingers crossed now.

  5. did the customs charge you anything ???also does amazon ship free to india ? if i order one phone or do i have to order 2 ? i think i know why the orders were cancelled . give me a day or two and i will tell you exactly whats the solution to this i am doing a thing on this since last 2 days visiting i2c world office in andheri ! i have written a mail to i2c after they cancelled the order. i told them that a lot of my friends had booked from you and their order has been cancelled by you. I told them that I would spread the word to give them Negative feedbacks and negative publicity through social media sites like facebook, twitter, etc. I told them to complete the order for the sake of their reputation, blah, blah .... Haven't received any reply so far. i don't think I will.

  15. Got the ET4G repaired today. Cost me 750 to get the vibrate switch and 3.5 mm jack replaced. Working A-OK now. Thanks for the inputs.
  16. Can some Rimwebians guide me to trusted authorized / local service centres for hardware repair issues in mobile phones? I have a hardware issue with my Samsung ET4G. Would prefer location near Chembur, Mumbai or Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Thanks!!
  17. Yes, Uninstalled all previous Samsung drivers, rebooted, installed new samsung drivers, rebooted ....... But still the SPH D-710 drive won't show up!! For this you can use this patch WMFDist11-WindowsXP-X86-ENU.exe it may solve your MTP issue on XP. or just update to WMP11 full from Ms website. Hiteshji, Thanks for this tip. But, I'd rather not go down that road as My Win XP is not original and one needs to validate the copy of Windows before getting the Win Media Player 11 update. Anyway, like I posted earlier, I had found the workaround by downloading 'USB mode switch for SGS1 on CM' from Playstore which shows both your Internal and External SD cards as drives on your PC. So that problem is solved.
  18. My phone is rooted, but without Recovery. So, I used Root Explorer and wiped Dalvik Cache and Data Cache. Rebooted. No joy. Then I backed up all necessary stuff and did a factory Reset. Still vibrate problem persists. I think it is a hardware issue. Advice please!! Should I take it to an authorised Samsung Service Centre or can some Rimwebians guide me to their trusted hardware guys in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai? Pm me if required.
  19. I've rebooted several times, removed battery for a long time and restarted, but still the same problem. Before going for a hardware check, I thought maybe I should try a factory reset. I'm on rooted Android version 4.1.2, software version GB27. Is it safe to do a factory reset on this phone?
  20. Since yesterday, My ET4G has stopped vibrating. Now, phone won't vibrate on incoming calls, text notification, haptic feedback, etc. I checked all the settings, they seem to be fine. Haptic feedback is turned on, Vibrate when ringing is turned on, Vibrate intensity is turned to full. Am i missing something? Could it be a hardware issue? Anyone else facing this problem??

All the Microsoft software will now support default languages like Marathi, Sindhi, Bhojpuri, Tapori, etc! After Windows 7, Windows 8, the next versions of Microsoft Windows will be named Windows Nav Do Gyarah, Windows 786, etc! No MS software will ever be declared end-of-life.They will continue using it with the Indian mother's logic - how can you waste anything? All MS employees including Bill Gates will have to oil their hair everyday, do Ganeshji ki pooja before work & eat dal rice with their hands! All Microsoft products will now come with option of installing it one by two, two by three, etc! Henceforth all Microsoft offices globally will be shut 1 week for Diwali holidays and open for work during Christmas week. All Microsoft products will stop working in Pakistan from tonight. Just a giant middle finger will appear as they boot their PCs tomorrow. Each Windows CD will now ship with a free CD of 'Mata ki bhent' from T series! All Windows critical updates will henceforth be nothing but just updated menu cards from Paradise Biryani from Hyderabad!

    I ordered a mobile cover (Boxwave) from www.shopyourworld.com. Delivery time was 7-8 days. After many enquiries, the product was delivered after 20 days. They sent some local TPU case instead of the Boxwave cover. I had ordered COD. I raised the issue immediately with their customer service and they promised the pick up the wrong product immediately. Even after a week the cover was not reverse picked up by them. I sent them several mails since I placed the order, but they don't bother to answer any complaint mails. Finally after a week, they sent their office boy to pick up the case (Their office is in Andheri, Mumbai). I was promised a refund in 2-3 days. It has been almost 10 days and refund is still pending. Please be careful with this seller.

  25. Short and sweet commonman! Well put! I agree with him. Better to invest the same amount in a bank or elsewhere & use the interest earned annually to take a vacation of your choice, where u want, when u want. But you should attend the presentation to get the freebies, like a holiday, etc.
