Tutorial: How To Flash Sprint Moto X & any Moto G CDMA To Reliance CDMA
man-saturday replied to ::Hitesh::'s topic in Tutorial and Guides
OK. Hiteshji solved the HCC issue. Apparently you have to use phone's original SPC when you try to activate using HCC PIN. I changed mine from 000000 to original PIN and it worked. -
Tutorial: How To Flash Sprint Moto X & any Moto G CDMA To Reliance CDMA
man-saturday replied to ::Hitesh::'s topic in Tutorial and Guides
Ok. Thanks to a Twrp restore the ## menus have started working again. But still no luck with *228 activation :-( on the Moto G Sadly I have less than 24 hours to complete the step 2 of HCC. Does anyone know if HCC PIN can be reused if step 2 on new phone is NOT done in 24 hours? -
Tutorial: How To Flash Sprint Moto X & any Moto G CDMA To Reliance CDMA

Also peculiarly all the ## menu options are not working. During programming ##3424# would put in DIAG mode. Now it only attempts to dial that number. Obviously fails. Nor does ##000000# work for MIN/MDN menu. In 'about phone' the PRL is still 5. But I'm confused why the ## options are not working anymore. Anyone? -

Am using HCC for activation after completing tutorial & meid regn. Though on old phone the sms says first step completed successfully, the Moto G does not activate using the same code after *228. Is there some other procedure to follow for Moto G for HCC activation? -

Tutorial: How To Flash Sprint Moto X & any Moto G CDMA To Reliance CDMA

Hi, I have been following this excellent tutorial till slide 30. I have one query regarding the boxes for MDN & PCS on the DFS NAM page. In the tutorial slide both the boxes are filled with zeros but in my case both are simply blank. Am I doing something wrong? Also on my Moto G's 'about phone' page the MDN is "unknown" and the MIN is all zeros. The MEID registration is pending & the phone has not yet been activated. If anyone could tell me how I can fill in those MDN & PCS boxes to zeros as per tutorial slide 30. Grateful for any help. Thanks! -

Hardware Purchase Suggestion Requests
man-saturday replied to hiteshkkk1's topic in General Technical Discussion
Hi, for Mumbai MTNL ADSL, I have found the Asus DSL-N10E to be the most reliable. It also has good range & low power consumption. It is available for between 1800 to 2000 bucks at Lam road or online too. I have tried the Dlink & TPlink ones also. But I find this to be the most stable. Though not the cheapest offer out there, you can check out Flipkart reviews here:- http://www.flipkart.com/asus-dsl-n10e-wireless-n150-adsl-modem-router/p/itmd7xkfs6hyzmnq?pid=RTRD7XKFRCZH8TE4&icmpid=reco_pp_hSame_router_3#read-reviews -
Please Suggest Reliance CDMA QWERT Smartphone
man-saturday replied to Nikhil Rajadhyaksha's topic in Handset Suggestions
Would be there be any Qwerty CDMA which support OMH? Apart from the local Micromaxes etc. Is it completely wrong to assume that the Blackberry Q10 from Verizon may work via OMH on Indian networks? Just a shot in the dark... -

Irresistable Deals In Electronics, Gadgets, Mobiles, PC Hardware
man-saturday replied to rajanmehta's topic in General Technical Discussion
Hello Rajan Bhai, Any good deals for a sturdy laptop (metal body perhaps) in the 35k range. Processor can be i5 or quad core a8. Screen 14 or 15 inches. DOS will do. But mainly looking at durability. Had thought of the Asus S56CA series or the HP ProBook 14 inch series but I'm sure you will know of better choices. If the deal is really good & discounts a lot then would not mind stretching the budget by another 2k. Thanks! Basu- 6,376 replies

This is in reply to a PM from Vikash & also his post (quoted above). Am sharing this process here in case anyone benefits from it. Using the following method I have successfully activated tethering on the Electrify M. Hope it helps for the Razr M too. Firstly for rooting use the following process. Its dead easy:- http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/15208-root-motochopper-yet-another-android-root-exploit-412/ Then use Titanium to firstly backup all the apps. In the case of the Electrify M, there was a certain app called Synchronoss TEDC which was blocking the tethering. Maybe in Razr M there is a different app which blocks the tethering. So, using Titanium I froze the TEDC app. Rebooted the phone & tethering was working perfectly even with the stock tethering app. With my Evdo connection I could get 1.2 Mbps tethering speeds on my laptop. Do post here if anyone has success with this for the Razr M tethering. Thanks!

thanks for the link. shall i buy from bajaao.co. or from ebay.also ZOOM has direct distributor in mumbai also.h1 priced at 6600. shall i go for h2/other high segments? pls help For primarily single source recordings such as voice/classroom lecture/guitar solo, the Zoom H1 will suffice. For multiple source recordings such as a music band or recording of a theatre play, go with the Zoom H2n which costs around 12k. The H2n offers finer control to focus the acoustic space which you want to cover. As always there are mic-recorders which can go up to even a lakh for better features but for basic starter kits, the ones above are great. Another great company is Tascam but I find their India prices costing almost 80-90% more which is unreasonable. Zoom is much better in this regard of fairer pricing. Mumbai has a good brick n mortar dealer shop located very close to VT (CST) Station. Its called Shalu Music. You can find the recorders there. The Zoom distributer located at Worli does not sell to end users directly. One has to buy from their dealers. Hope that helps.- 6,376 replies

For quality voice recording none of those cheap makes or built-in phone options are good enough. Your best option is the Zoom H1 handheld recorder. Excellent quality & very useful for all sorts of scenarios from interviews to recording self voice for reviews etc. Also works great when paired with a camera/dslr for quality audio visual content. Have used it personally & am very satisfied. Product Link : http://www.zoom.co.jp/products/h1/features/ Online buying link from reputed store bajaao.com : http://www.bajaao.com/shop/74-studiorecording/170-portable-a-field-recorders/6888-zoom-h1-portable-digital-recorder.html All the best.- 6,376 replies

ShopAndShip / PPO Box & other package forwarders
man-saturday replied to caringlover's topic in General Technical Discussion
^^ @smnrock - Didn't quite follow the procedure above. The aramex tracking no. can only be available after SnS dispatches the goods from the US address, right? So why does the same tracking number, which they only gave need to be provided back to them? Please clarify the steps below: 1. Purchase is made from a US merchant (say ebay/newegg). 2. The invoice of that purchase & the tracking number of that shipment is sent to Shop&Ship. Since their New York office only calculates the 'shipping to India' costs, is it that if this primary invoice is less than the Dollar equivalent of 10,000 rupees (say $200), only then there is no duty charged? 3. Does the package then get delivered to the India address without duty addition. At what stage would they inform you about the quantum of duty payable in case it is payable? Lastly would a SnS address be acceptable as a delivery address for Paypal payments as many insist on the 'Paypal verified address'? The above clarifications would be very helpful for first timers to make their purchases. Thanks in advance -
Hi guys, I was recently researching to buy Nook Colors & found 2 great deals of almost new pieces at 10.5k (with MicroSd card & carry case included). Both were located at Delhi. I have bought one of them. If anyone is interested in the other, pls PM me asap. Will then pass on the contact to you. Regards, Basu. PS-@ Mods - If there is a more apt thread for this info, pls move it there. Sorry.

All those who utilized the offer to buy Dove soap for Rs. 48/- cannot opt for this since the ebay seller is the same. You can only buy from this seller again after 10 days of previous buy. I am getting the same message that I don't meet the criteria because I bought the soap deal 3 days ago. PS.- I got delivery of the Dove soap so the seller is definitely genuine.- 6,376 replies

Tried to order a digital camera from letsbuy.com but could not get any coupon advantages. I think 'rcomlsb' has expired. Could not get a discount out of 'icicilb' or 'iluvletsbuy' either. Is it just me or have all of them expired with effect from 1st May?- 6,376 replies
