ok mitesh, glad to know you dont have any trouble with the charging... i suppose bored is right, this way, the battery is not used up, but then, considerable battery life is saved if you turn off the backlight when you use the phone and when charging, you neither use the phone to talk nor use the backlight, so the saving should be really low... in effect, the difference shouldnt be much.

shabbooo, post your ringtone so we can check it out... i tried mi2, but i couldnt get a decently tweaked version, i tried doing it myself and it came out well in psmplayer, but in the phone it was awful...why such a difference? and is it possible for anyone to develop a software that gives an output as that of say, 2030 for instance.(i know im being selfish!) so that it is easy for us to decide which tone sounds good before we upload it... static, the simplest way i believe to join two ringtones would be to join the two midi files that were already created and cut the gap out...

Somewhere above this thread, I remember having seen "Desires" being uploaded and the user having complained that it had not worked well on his mobile. I'm attaching a better version of the same and also one that I have tweaked specially for LG RD2030. is there any software that converts colour pics into b&w so that v can upload them as wallpapers?

guys, i think my way should be far easier... i created the name with word art and SIMPLY RIGHT-CLICKED COPY AND OPENED PAINT AND CLICKED ON EDIT-->PASTE. I saved it as a bmp file and dragged it into static's program.

hey guys, does this mean we could add more wallpapers than that provided by reliance? are the extra wallpapers added in the sequential order, ie, icon04.dat, icon05.dat...?

i think it could be risky to push and pull the battery rather than slide it too. and btw, has anyone thought of any side effects to this process? i mean, is it really ok to charge it w/o the phone? or am i just being dumb and the phone really has nothing to do with the charging part???

u really make gtran look very tempting! and i didnt know that the battery of 2030 could be charged w/o the set... thats news to me...

when i travel by the bus, i usually start a game and keep it that way, since i thought if i quit it, it wouldnt come again. good to know that it will! i read that post static, but it doesnt tell anything about a method to upload games. how i wish we could! or maybe i'm just being greedy...but thats being human isnt it?!

i may be wrong but thats not the way ordinary mail providers check for spam. i think what they would is to check for recognized words.

guess what guys? ive been using r connect from jan. 2004 and i got a bill this month quoting an amount of Rs.669 as membership charges that werent or so they say charged before. isnt this stupid or maybe its not the right word but then all of a sudden you get a bill of the order of 700 bucks for some past reason you thought was over. of course im not justifying that i shouldnt pay for what i used but then i thought that the amounts i used to pay(they were only the usage charges) was all that was incurred while using r connect. the result? im dumping r connect for broadband!

how do you actually download GAMES from r world? i thought u could just play em! could anyone brief me on that???

its happened to me too, i mean the low battery part and lots of times ive been too slow to react and it powers off. im having the desktop charger on when surfing too, wonder if itll affect the phone with both the usb cable and the charger at work together... anyone have an insight on this?

my suggestion is...forget the past and lets begin afresh. start a library and post everywhere possible asking for ringtone and wallpaper uploads to be done there. once ppl get used to it, it should be quite convenient.

i agree with static on that count. bitmaps cannot be animated and the simplest animations are created as gifs. but nothing seems out of reach when u have an lg rd2030!!!

a further addition to the previous post, rediff i believe gives out 1gb too, so why the fuss over gmail??? (i understand it has a clean interface, but thats not all you know...) pardon me gmail fanatics!!!

Hiya Code! It really is swell of you to attempt a front end for psmplay. I noticed that the interface was kind of confusing too, the difference being our capabilities as programmers I didnt attempt what you are... Anyway, since you are working on it, I'd like a small improvement made to it...though it might be entirely different...some way in which we could send an sms from our pc. The most antagonizing factor about the lg rd2030 is its tough keypad! atleast so I think...

Anyone knows what the software is in the first place? I read it from this forum that the name of the program is "ARC Writer" but then I searched for it in the net, but didn't have any success...
