The attached file is an mp3 I converted into midi with Widi 3.0. Both mp3 as well as midi are attached, check it out yourself... And I can assure you that the mp3 was not created from a midi file. There are differences in the converted midi, but they can be ignored...

Arun, I think he meant creating ringtones from scratch... I've been asking around for one myself...

I was trying on the same lines, I tried converting mp3 ringtones into midi files in this voice aah format, but it didn't work...

Hi guys! I've got a crack in the screen of my LG RD 2030. It's something quite noticeable. Has this happened to any of you guys??? Will they charge me for changing the LCD? Should I take it to RWW or the LG Service Centre?

lol, Mahidhar, I definitely wasn't serious about the liquid oozing part! I'm sure Chirag wasn't either... Anyway, I'll check out with the Service Centre first and then hunt for body covers as I have seen them only for GSM Mobiles before... But I don't see how the body covers will cover the crack in the glass unless they remove the glass?

I suppose its just on the surface coz there aren't any oozing fluids! Jokes apart, that seems pretty costly, I mean, 350 bucks for a mere change of glass!

I've gone through this for another user already...When the system boots after the initial installation of the drivers and the sw starts again, select LG->2030->Serial(Yeah, that's an S-e-r-i-a-l, I know you have a USB cable, I want you to do it this way, trust me, it works!) Select your COM Port, click on Yes and voila, it works!(Ok, maybe it isn't this dramatic...) I found this method by Trial and Error... I've been using this thing installed this way for over an year, so NO SIDE-EFFECTS!

I think the USB one is better...Don't ask me the reason though...I'm sure I knew it when I bought it!!!

That's cool Chandramauli...I didn't do the same because I loved Win XP and was looking for a reason to revert back to XP! Still, just as you said, it would have taken a bit of RnD to find out... Though we do know about the compatibility wizard it's not at the back of our heads all the time!

That's a break through! Nobody was able to access the file structure of a Samsung phone before... I think it would be a big help for the Samsung users if you post the method too. But then, you say you find an error waiting for you...I'm not sure on that coz I have an LG...hope you get a solution!

I agree with static that when you press the 4-way key while charging, you do get a shock, but its very mild. The same holds for using it to talk too. I don't think the MIN/NAM are stored in the file structure...not seen it anyway. The easier way is to press Menu and Zero if you use Rel11 or use Inter PST. This topic is off bounds btw.

There was an option to upgrade to colour phones with the onset of the camera phones for an amount, I believe, of about Rs.4000. They might introduce something like that again... Looks great, but as Chirag said, hopefully it'll have good features. It's really cheap for a colour phone with Polyphonic ringtones...atleast from Reliance!

Mastermind, before you do anything to Windows, try uninstalling the two LGUSBConverterDriver and FTDIUSBSerial from the Control Panel first...its easier than installing Windows all over again! If you are able to uninstall it successfully...I'm doubtful because you have erased the registry entries, try installing it again. If that doesn't work, reinstall RConnect again by overwriting the original files...

Does it make a difference emmi? I've tried doing that, I've made it to more than 200%, still, I get the same output! Or is there any other way?
