I think it is better to forget about Dual Sim or Dual standby Android handsets for now at-least. Maybe in future we may be able to get good Dual standby handsets. -
I have 3 Motorola Androids and i was planing about Photon and Thanking to all your comments about its pros and cons i think i will have to search for a better handset other than a Photon. Any Suggestions!!!

Rs.5/MB ? Isnt that an overkill ? I feel the same, Rs5/M.B. I think this is crazy, we are again feeding Reliance. Look at GSM service providers, They are offering 2 G.B at Rs90/- . And the Airtel GSM 2G nowadays is at 200kpbs.Better than 1X. Check it out.

As far as i know all these limitation are only in India. Hope a good CDMA service provider comes and relives us. Check the U.S service provider , in fact they offer free handsets with Usage plans. Hope we get to feel it soon. -

I had gone through this same process about 8 months back, it doesn't work. Tata people don't know how to activate foreign Meid's.I had couple of friends in Tata technical team , after slogging for 3 days they were in the same delima as you have mentioned.
