it creates lots of trouble for me too. Specially when ever power cut takes place and shut down timer is on (download scheduler).

last month i downloaded more than 15 gb of software. and few movies and now i am downloading 'Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2005 Professional with MSDN Collection' size more than 2.5gb-28 rar parts(downloaded 21parts.) i have no problem with rconnect. but all i want to say rapidshare s**ks!!!

is it going to work with fedora 4. i am using FTDI Chipset data cable provided by reliance.

Hi, I am having PL2303 USB/SER chipset based grey market cable and it works without any problem at 230.4KBps speed between my RD2130 and PC node. Ahhh but I am free of WDM and associated INF crap, I am riding on LINUX . how u did that on linux? can u post that screen shot? and information on how to do that on linux based os? thanx.

u need genuine(FTDI Chipset) usb data cable else it will not work.

for rconnect open notepad and type @ping -t 203.138.96.2 @pause and save it as speed.bat use this setting for tata indicom just create small bat file open notepad and type @ping -t 203.197.12.30 @pause and save it as speed.bat i have attached the file now change its ext to .bat i.e speed.bat and double click on it speed.txt

dude there is no need to install virtual pc. use the virtual lan option available on VMware and than try little r&d with i.t. i hope it will work 4 u . or try it on linux

if u want to connect rconnect through any user account........ without logging out and logging in as root. Try following command su - it will ask for password, type root password and press enter and than type rconnect if u r using r connect script or wvdial R if u r using wvdial script and it will connect r connect successfully

just create small bat file open notepad and type @ping -t 203.197.12.30 <<<<<<<<<CHANGE<DNS @pause and save it as speed.bat now double click on it. It will start pinging automatically if ur using reliance, than use dns of reliance type ipconfig/all on command prompt and change this dns 203.197.12.30 of tata with reliance 1 and save it. why pinging dns? answer it will not affect ur net speed

every thing is bakwas u can't have 2rconnect connection @ 1 pc cos when u dial a dialup call, reliance's server register ur computer name and other detail, and when u connect other phone it disconnect session rconnect session of 1st phone.... how i came to know about this? answer by using Ethereal. but i was able to connect 2rconnect connection @ 1 pc by using VMware Workstation, i created virtual pc by using above s/w. and than i connected my 2 mob with 1 pc and connected rconnect @ same time. and i was successful.. 2 mob? yes i made the clone of my own mob!!!! but later i uninstalled virtual pc from my pc cos it was taking too much memory. I'll post Ethereal log of rconnect connection 2moro. thanx

first install rconnect driver provided on rconnect cd, than try to connect manually.

it sounds like idm but does it support resume on megaupload? and download on rapidshare?and autoconnect when net get disconnect due to no signal or any other troubleshoot?
