afaik they are 2 different settings ...one for rworld (Wap ) which requires proxy server in the setting and the other is for use on computers which has only "rcomnet" as APN

the phones works as modem on CDMA 1x so the problem is related to some settings

That means BB phones like 8830 which support EVDO will also get speeds like NetConnect BB+?? i am in the process of getting BB 8830 WE that supports EVDO . will it get HSD like speeds on Reliance when using in normal internet mode (tethering with PC - dont know if its possible) . By normal internet mode i mean hour based reliance plans

Does TATA allow RUIM based EVDO device ?
