Hi all I am a dish TV user for last one month. Very satisfied with the service and package as of now. I paid a total of Rs3800, service tax, octro charges. This also includes 3 month free subscription to all channels. This package is called maxi package, U get a set top box and card . The reception is really good and sound quality is exellent. The dish is installed facing east side. THe set top box is easy to set up and manage. The set top box is korean make , its name is Zenega all channels are there, I will recommend to go for Dish TV Why ... Its tried and tested as its been providing DTH service for over 3 years. Dish is gonna further reduce price of channel packages, to capture more market, u can see they are really marketing their serviced hard these days, lots of ads and stuff. Tata sky has just launched will take time to stabilise, and capture market, As inital cost are high, so their charges are also high, same thing was when dish tv began thier service they used to charge some 8000 for the setup, My Advice go for Dish TV forget about TATA for next one year, till they stabilise in market

Hi there i feel its not a problem with the operating system , but the USB, i have faced a similar issue before, where the phone would switch off or just hang, its a prolem with the USB port and the power supplied, if the connection breaks, or drops on the USB port, the N191 will hang, restart, or even lockup, have faced similar issues with my N191 before, i will advice to use it with windows only, these days , there is a speed drop in reliance, so rconnect is working slow, it also depends on , whts the load on a tower, no of users acessing the service in a prticular area, try connecting at different tmings, during day, afternoon and late night, u will be able to make out the difference in speed ,

Restrain Reliance Infocomm, Say Cell Companies
Dushie replied to Arun's topic in Reliance Communications
I agree reliance offers competetive rates and great offers , other subscribers, are making money by charging so mcuh for std services, reliance has to show them the way, and all consumers are benfited by these tarif plans and offers. -

Giving greater impetus to the Code Division Multiple Access segment, Samsung India on Tuesday launched 'the slimmest' CDMA phone in the country through an exclusive tie-up with Reliance Infocomm Ltd. 'Slim Ultra', which the company claims to be the world's slimmest CDMA phone, is priced at Rs 2,999 for Reliance subscribers in, both, pre-paid and post-paid categories. "We hope to give greater impetus to the CDMA sector by launching this phone," K S Kim, president and CEO (South West Asia) and MD of Samsung India, told reporters in New Delhi, adding that the company expects to fuel the growth of CDMA industry in India through innovative product launches. Reliance Infocomm has been working with multiple vendors like LG, Nokia and Samsung, Praveen Pasricha, head (sales), Reliance Infocomm, said.
