Ordered a 822, Getting it today, read online and realised it does not have the wireless charging option by default and one needs to buy a different back case for that. Any ideas, if locally thi is available. I did see few listings on Ebay US for sellers in Hongkong and China. If anyone has the same or is aware of local option to get the same do share.

It is not working anymore. I did last recharge on 28th Dec for Rs 94 that time i got 5 GB. In February when i tried recharging for Rs 94 it got declined. Only Rs 95 worked for 1 GB . Looks like they updated their systems their also.

Had bought a motorola Luge , They called today and said that the seller did not ship the item Best buy did not update on any shipping details. So they are refunding the amount back now.

Well no update from them till now on my order. The last email i got from them was 10 days back and it said that my item has been purchased.

Where to buy Rsim from these days. Do not see any seller on ebay anymore.

You are not the only one, I know 5 more folks who bought it and returned it and now are using a redmi note and happy with the same.

Mi4 is coming, so guess folks not interested in buying MI3 anymore.

Ordered Motorola Luge from USA for 50$. Planning to buy a Verizon Iphone 6 now.

My phone is from US so no worry on the updates. Will get everything that comes in. Else folks can flash the updates too. The files would be available on the one plus one forum

Have been using the phone for couple of months. Did not face any issues. Working pretty smooth.

Bought couple of stuff in last few weeks. Two Xiaomi MI3, Two Xiaomi 10400 power banks. One MI3 cover. May pick up a Redmi 1s for a friend to use today.

Have been using MI3 and i am pretty happy with the same. It is a good quality phone and worth the money spent. Can't say the same for Redmi 1s as its a low budget phone and may come with its own load of challenges and issues. Just hoping that folks are not jumping the gun to buy the same. I see for many people owning this is more of a status symbol and an ego issue, where they just want to buy a MI3 to show that they own one and one of the very few in billions using the same in India.

I am going to get my hands on a MI3 in the next few days, let's see how good the phone is. As there are plenty of users out there now, 70k of them.

Well the first option works pretty well. The second one i think does not, there is currently no way to change the MEID on Moto G. If there is then it would be good. Anyone tried the second option and was successful then please share.

@kuduku, i did manage to get the verizon AC 30 unlocked for GSM but it is working only for Airtel after the unlock. I did read about some firmware in russian forum that may be able to unlock completely but did not try the same. @maddyboy the 315 dongle alibaba is selling comes with this version itself as i know someone who ordered it from there for 3.5k and he provided the details. There may be a unlock option available soon for the same is what i heard from a source, so waiting for that. Once i get to know more details about the same would share.

Nope, no solution till now, tried multiple firmwares also, but no go. The dongle which is being sold in Alibaba and comes unlocked and has firmware version : My Software version: 11.102.67.01.45. Web UI version: 12.001.10.03.45 . As of now unable to find this firmware anywhere. By putting this firmware the sim slot on the dongle may start working.

Already tried different dashboard, even installed a different firware but it is not saving RUIM setting and getting reset to NV only on reboot. Their may be a firmware version that can unlock the same, that is being shipped by the chinese sellers at Ali express . Not able to find the same anywhere the firmware version: 11.102.67.01.45 .

Atleast its working in EVDO mode, here evern after flashing the firmware, it is not taking the setting and sim slot is not working, it resets back to default NV setting on reboot.

No response, if anyone has any inputs or ideas , please do share the same.

Tested the gujrat sim, it is working as expected. Which is good news. Getting 1 Mbps download speeds.

even the customer care can give you the port no. I got it from them when i was porting out from reliance as i did not get any confirmation after sending the port out request.

Well today morning, i forgot that my validity had expired and i used my sim, the balance went to 0.5 paise and after that internet stopped.Visited my regular recharge vendor and he said that in Bangalore no longer cdma sims are being sold by Tata and it is difficult to buy one, so better hold on to the numbers you have . Also not many recharge options are left now,200 on 200 was there but was very high,went for a Rs 100 recharge and got Rs 86 balance.One thing good that came out of this experience is that now negative balance will not happen as when the balance goes to 0.5 paisa the internet would stop working. This is good for folks who end up exceeding their usage.
