All are GSM based PDAs. Sheer waste of money and time. For PDAs either you should go CDMA or WCDMA

Friends, Have a look at this site. http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/k342-phone/ It'll be available soon in USA and hopefully in India in near future. Features are almost equivalent "Koi" with addition of Bluetooth. Discuss further pros and cons of kyocera in general and this set in particular. What do you expect of Kyocera? Why aren't they becoming poupular like LG sets? Is it cost or quality or after-sales support?

No.............. Onnet packs are not stopped... They've changed the profile..... Now onnet pack in reliance means R2R free from 22:00 to 08:00. (This info is not provided in the webpages properly... This's the complaint which we're pointing too..) During day price may differ according to the onnet RCV selected.
-
Its same for all states' prepaid tariff. There's no clear info about when Rim2Rim Free for onnet packs.

Ric Launches '1world 1number' International Roaming On Cdma And Gsm Networks
kesav posted a topic in Reliance Communications
Reliance Infocomm launches '1world 1number' international roaming on CDMA and GSM networks DAKC (Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City), Navi Mumbai, March 29, 2006 Reliance Infocomm today launched seamless inter-standard international roaming service - 1World.1Number, with single number on international CDMA & GSM networks. This means that even when Reliance customers are roaming on a GSM network - for instance, in Europe - the caller line identification of the customer would still be his/her Reliance number. Reliance is the first telecom operator in India to launch inter-standard roaming. The new inter-standard roaming service is a huge bonus for Reliance customers as they will no longer have to resort to call-forwarding when traveling from a CDMA network to GSM network and vice versa. With 11 major CDMA networks and 340 GSM networks covered under 1World 1Number service, Reliance now becomes the number 1 service provider in India in terms of offering the widest international roaming coverage and lowest roaming rates. Reliance customers traveling abroad can subscribe to the service at Reliance WebWorlds. A SIM Card will be provided to the customer, which used with a suitable GSM handset, will enable customer to roam on GSM networks. Customer can use CDMA handset for roaming on CDMA networks. By looking at some fine prints in prepaid tariff pages of the Infocomm's webpage, I'm sure they've tried their best possible to answer many queries posted in RIMweb. Its happy to note that RIMweb is contributing to the growth of Infocomm. Kudos to all those who contributed to this forum. I think Arun can claim some percentage out of Infocomm's turn-over.

I got the following information in my latest bill. Kindly someone confirm and throw more light over it.

One India / One Nation / One Rupee Plans by various operators
kesav replied to kcvvenkit's topic in The Lounge
As I've said in post #102 RIM prepaid one india is much better than BSNL prepaid one india. In RIM you've option to either go for 555 or 1100. BSNL postpaid one india tariff defeats its own one india prepaid tariff hands down. BSNL excites in Postpaid and Landline but RIM beats in prepaid. As per the BSNL website, top-up is possible on this voucher. -
