The nokia 6265 has been moved from "Upcoming Models" to "New Releases" section in nokia india website. Where have they relased? With which operator? No info on both Reliance and Tata Indicam websites. All are crazy in maintaining their web pages... Its a series 40

There are 9 CDMA handsets available on the "upcoming models" section of nokia india web site. Excuse them for not moving 6235 & 3155 from "upcoming models" to "New Releases".(May be nokia india website maintainers might be ex-reliance employees..) Leaving those you've 7 models viz 2855,2355,2255,1255,6265,6165 & 6155 Most of them are Clam Shell Design Some phones are not notified as CDMA but again forgive them. I hope all these phones might be released together. Anyway Reliance & Nokia partnership will be rocking in the coming months.

Guys, Its time we move from 1 minute pulse rate to 1 second pulse rate regime. Earlier it might be technological constraint. But now in this age it should be possible. Tata inidcom has already done it. For people who make heavy number of short calls in a month has an advantage that their monthly bill will reduce by 25% if we move to this regime. I expect you guys to join the discussion to promote this as a national awareness campaign. I expect one day TRAI to announce that in India all operators should charge their customer per second. They should thank Rimweb for campaigning for it. Think Think Think Why should we pay for the seconds which we didn't use?

Kindly read the entire thread before posting anything. Atleast refresh your brain with forum guidelines. You already have an answer in the thread. Don't repeat the same thing like a damaged tape-recorder.

Reliance Intensifies Tariff War; Offers Free Outgoing Calls
kesav replied to abhay's topic in Reliance Communications
Sorry, Its 1999/- . I've edited my post -
BSNL has 15 second pulse for its 325(cell-80pm & landline-120pm),525(cell-40pm & landline-120pm) & 999 plans in postpaid. But the call rates being similar to reliance. If there's a will there's a way.

Reliance Intensifies Tariff War; Offers Free Outgoing Calls
kesav replied to abhay's topic in Reliance Communications
Rs.2000 talk-time free and 2000 sms free on LG5340(Rs. 3999),LG6230(Rs. 7999) & LG2340(Rs.2700) Rs.1000 talk-time free and 1000 sms free on LG5130(Rs.3500) & LG2430(Rs.1999) -
Exactly the point which I'm targeting..... After all these call rate reductions which are going on currently there is no possiblity for operators to play the game further. So I beleive "second" pulse will open up another oppurtunity for them to show that they're more economical than their competitors without reducing their call rates but changing pulse rate alone. Customers will also will get the satisfaction that they're not charged for their unused seconds. It would be a win-win situation for the operator who plunges in first into this regime.
-
I don't find any logic in the argument that "second" pulse rate will increase the tariff. It should certainly reduce the tariff. It should be the next best way for the operators to show that they care for their customers. I've seen some times my friends looking at the call duration while making a call in order to cut at some 55-59th second in order to avoid the next pulse. "second" pulse would help to avoid those uneasy circumstances for the customers. This would be much welcome need for fixed line phones where the pulse is 3 minutes. It would save tremendous amount of money for customers in the fixed line sector.
-
Operators moved from second pulse to minute pulse. Its a news to me. When were they in second pulse?
-
Fantastic job Ashok. Keep going...
-
I'm not intrested in increasing the call rate just because to migrate to second pulse. Suppose if the current call rate is Rs.1 then I would like to have 1.7p per second. Just I want direct conversion of the current rates(dividing by 60).

Kyocera Se47 (slider), Kyocera Kz830, Kyocera Kx1 (soho) And Kyocera Kx2 (koi)
kesav replied to rohitk's topic in Other handsets
This post was made on Jan 5 and the reliance software guys didn't find time to move the KOI to video camera phone section till now. Are they listening? One more stupidity by reliance SW guys. The name of the phone is KZ 830 but they've specified it as KX 830(that too in bold). Hope kyocera guys don't see it. If they see they may discontinue the alliance with Reliance for the poor representation of the products they get from stupid Reliance. http://www.relianceinfo.com/Infocomm/Rim/h...kyocera830.html -
KZ870 is improved and slim version of KZ830, which is already available with Reliance. KZ870 has camera and external sub-OLED display in addition to features of KZ830. Questions for owners/retailers of KZ830 In the reliance site the features for KZ830 says RUIM support. I want to know whether RUIM is enabled for KZ830 in Reliance. I've read somewhere that KZ830 supports GPS. Is it active? If the above 2 questions has affirmative answers then KZ870(with camera) will be a worthy toy with the ability to shift between TATA and Reliance. Question for Reliance internals. Is there a plan in Reliance to support Push-To-Talk(PTT) in near future? http://www.totalmanage.com/web/phone/phone...p?phone_id=1702 http://www.hardwarezone.com/articles/print...?cid=18&id=1169

Are they available in all cities? No information in Reliance website.

No model by name LG5430. Only LGRD5340 is freely available. If interested in second hand LGRD6130 you can PM me. In future kindly post in appropriate thread for your queries instead of creating new thread. I've noticed that you've done this for second time. Moderators kindly close this.

There is new application called "ER Retailer" in BillnHelp --> RBill Would be helpful for prepaid customers for e-recharge and balance enquiry.

I don't understand why ppl are so much involved in comparing 6230 and 6235. I beleive you should compare 6230 and 6255. No way 6235's features mathces with 6230's except for its extra FM. 6235 is an inferior phone in features. I think 6230 is a phone of 6255's features at 6235's cost. one question :: Can 6230 support 1GB miniSD card?

Very very happy birthday. Many more happy returns. I wish all the success for the future years. It was wonderful association for me with RIMweb in past few months. Its educative, informative and fun-filled. I would say its a wonderful community service. Hats off to all who are administratively invovlved. I never thought in India peolple will be happy to spend time discussing something other than Cinema that too without expecting any financial returns. I'm happy today that we and India as a whole have matured enough to discuss good things for good purpose. Best wishes

I really don't know where to put this information. I came across a nice sony ericsson handset. http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=glo...m=pp1&pid=10033 Would be intresting for you to discuss about other mobile phone makers than what currently Reliance is supporting.
