There's new phone available by identification 6256. I'm not sure whether its an upgrade of 6255 or US version of 6255. Features looks to be identical. check out this site. http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6256i

"Videos" is removed instead "movies and more" is added. "Devotional" menu is added. Names of some menu altered. What amitbt22 is saying true. Mukul just reset R-World and try again you may get new menus.

What are the models? Any site which details it?

Anybody could say what's the PPI(pixel per inch) for 6255's displays? Are all nokia phones' PPI remain the same?

No bluetooth,no mp3 player,no mmc. That's it. There's no more blah blah. The high features of 6155 are the following. High colour depth helpful for multimedia Fantastic camera improved audio and video streaming improved voice dialling RUIM option 64 poly If you're not fanatic about music then I would bet 6155 is the best. Anyway forget about both 6155 and 6255 there is 6265 which exactly mixes both the features of 6155 and 6255. Could help both photo and music fanatics. When will it be lauched ?

I extensively use R-World. My current LG phone has everything enabled in R-World. My data usage time is triple the voice usage time. I want to buy this mobile. But before that I want all features to be enabled on R-World. I can wait till that point of time. The Rworld.doc posted by Tanveer earlier has only the information about main menu. The .xls sheet given in the reliance-site link has information on every sub-menu available in R-World but it is not up to date. Hence I request any one here to use the .xls sheet and update the information on R-World feature availability of 6255.

Forget all the phones. Just keep dreaming of 6265. This is an ultimate phone. Its a confluence of 6155 & 6255. As you already know 6155 is best in display and camera, big-hit for pic lovers. 6255 is good in supporting music lovers with music player. 6265 does both. What else you need? Just keep dreaming till its launch.

Tanveer, Any update........

If you forget about listening to stored music then I feel 6155 is more future-rich compared to 6255.

No idea. May be Nokia people active in forum could throw some light. It says it supports audio-streaming but no mention about music-player. Is the format used for these 2 apllications are different?

Mukul, That's a nice & detailed explanation. Thanks a lot for info. By the end, what I feel is the space and flexibility which series60 phone provides may get under-utilized if Reliance remains in curent genearation of 144kbps. Static applications like music and video loaded through expandable memory might get face-lift in series60 but the mobile applications like TV-live,music&video downloads, online reservations, video conference etc.. might not be achievable to the capability of the phone if Reliance continue to remain in current generation. I assume that you don't have information for one question which got unanswered. Hence I move that question to Reliance people active in the forum. When will Reliance move to Ev-DO? When 80% of current Japan CDMA network is Ev-DO(would be 100% by mid of next year), why can't we? What Reliance and Tata doing?

Hi Guys, I learnt that Nokia is coming up with yet another model 6155 for India, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia markets. I felt its features are enhanced especially with camera(1MB,8x zoom), polyphonic ringtones(64),video ringtones,pop-port connectivity and Speaker-independent voice recognition(SIVR). It best supports international roaming with RUIM and dual-frequency operation.I hope they've removed bluetooth connectivity to create market for their bluetooth adapter which fits into pop-port.There is no memory expansion slot. Just internal 16MB(this is good enogh if you're not going on big vacation). The depth of colour is amazing although resolution remains same. main display - 262K external display -65 K compared to 6255's main-64K and external-4K. You can get more information in ASIA-PACIFIC nokia website.

Mukul, Any information about 6638 release in US and then eventual release in India. Do you know any other supplier(other than Nokia) coming out with series60 CDMA phone? In Japan, service providers are alerady in EV-DO and I hope they might be already having series60 phones(just a guess). Will 6638 support EV-DO? When would reliance will move to EV-DO? Will series60 will have any major impcat if service-provider doesn't support EV-DO? What would be the difference between series60 and series80 platform?

Hello Tanveer, Kindly use the excel sheet from http://rworld.relianceinfo.com/RWorld/pdf/handset_matrix.xls to fill so that we could get information about all applications available in 6255. Hope I'm not troubling you much. Thanks in advance
