    In order to port out, I am trying to send message PORT <93XXXXXXXX> to 1900. But it cannot be sent and remains in outbox. Now what to do? Reliance network is gone. Aircel network is active. *111# and *129# etc. are working. Messages to 55333 are not working. CC not available.

    Got this official message at 22.33: "You may experience NW issues as we are optimizing it in UPE. Voice services will stop from 1 Dec. Continue to use 4G Data service or port to any NW of your choice. RCOM"
  4. Yes. And that is why I said this number may reach upto 9 crore in next few months. But it is all about feasibility and not about probability. .   5. @ 50 sims per store per day, they can activate apporx. 90 lacs sims in next 3 months. (with 2000 stores). They are going to provide eKYC terminal to retail shops too. Thus, they can, perhaps, activate 9 crore connections in next 3 months. But, till then, welcome offer will have come to an END.

    It will probably happen but not in near future. Apart from new ip technology, Reliance, through rcom, would like to keep its presence in conventional telecom market too as long as it is relevant.
  12. The only thing we expected was cheaper data. We wouldn't mind if they charged for voice calls like other operators.

    Rcom has already given its infrastructure to rjio. Now they should announce formal declaration of merger.
  15. They have mentioned that data balance will deducted for making video calls and for using jio apps. But no word about voice calls.
  16. Okay, you pay Rs. 149 as rental and start making ip calls. Now, suppose, you use about 6 GB data every month. You will have to pay Rs. 251+451=702 more to be able to use 6 GB data. Alternatively, you can choose plan 499 and an add on of Rs. 251. Thus you will be paying Rs. 750. Later, every service you will use, main data balance will be debited against it. Soon people will need 10 GB or more as everything will be based on data. .
