rcom aur rjio kabhi 2 jism 1 jaan hua karte the. aur ab 1 jism 2 naam ho gae hain.

It means they are updating their database. It should start working after 3-4 days. Then you can check your data balance even by dialing *111*1*3#. However, your 1 gb initial data balance must be in your account. If it is not working, re-enable roaming from your sim tool kit and restart your phone. Make sure that APN in network setting is 'rcomnet'. If data services are stopped by default, send SMS “START” to 1925. If your number is postpaid, you can register and log in at http://myservices.relianceada.com and obtain all details.

Many SIMS of first lot had some firmware problem. There was no data access with these SIMS. The firmware of these faulty SIMS were updated (or "patched") at Reliance Stores.
-
Write MBAL in the message box and send it to 55333.
-
No. Everything remains the same: main balance, data and sms etc. Dial *367*3# to see if the minute pack 2 hrs 30 mins has been credited. If not, talk to customer care at 198. If 198 is unavailable, dail *333 (paid).
-
Do not take customer care guys seriously. Most of them are new and they do not know everything.

You will get only 2 gb 3g data. However few 'lucky' subscribers will get more than 3 gb maximum up to 10 gb. Something like lucky draw.
-
The balance will not be affected. You needn't keep your new sim on as long as you are able to make/receive calls with your old sim.
-
It is strange. In our circle, they did not shut down the network at once. They migrated subscribers in batches. As soon as old sim stopped working (despite full network), new sim would start working.
-
Did you get confirmation message when you registered at 1299? If no, register again. If yes, keep both phones on.
-
They haven't started 4G services yet.
-
Why not. They have paid for this band and they will not leave it unused.
-
These settings will be sent every time you insert the SIM.

Reliance 4G services to start this week for CDMA upgraders via Jio sharing – report http://rtn.asia/t-t/20020/wait-ends-reliance-4g-services-to-start-this-week-for-cdma-upgraders-via-jio-sharing-report

You can do it through recharge service websites like mobikwik, freecharge or paytm.
-
They will not migrate everyone on some particular date. They are doing it in batches. So your number can be migrated on one day while others may be migrated on some other day. Keep talking on your old phone. When you are unable to make/receive calls in spite of full network, It's time to switch on your new phone.

If 2 gb for 98 rupees for 1 month was 2g sacm then 10 gb for 1857 rupees is 4g scam!
-
A retailer said that rjio will be launched on the same day i.e. on 25 June.
-
Yes, It is Aircel 3G.
-
Have you tried those steps? I am getting 3g in UP(E) through Aircel network.
-
You will get 10 GB data after launch of LTE network. Meanwhile, you can use 1 GB data. To use 3G, enable roaming from SIM toolkit; set network at 'WCDMA only' and restart your phone.

RSN/ESN number associated with your device/SIM, if not readable, can be retrieved at any Reliance Store. Devices without SIM have their unique ESN/RSN printed on the devices themselves whereas devices with SIM have their ESN/RSN printed on the SIM. Such devices have MEID that provide unique identity to them.
-
What work for me: In SIM toolkit, I saw national roaming was already enabled. I enabled it again and then restarted the phone. Now I found that data was working.

Thank you. I just wanted to know whether this band 20 is going to be used by Rcom/Rjio or any other operator in India.
