Rjio is anytime better than RCom4G [doesn't have VoLTE and depends on Circuit Switch Fallback to pathetic 2G/3G for voice & SMS]

Rjio does not seem to be confident on their VoLTE.  It supports through an app. Rjio is good for data but not good enough to replace conventional voice technology. It is still in beta stage. So, for now, Rjio too will be the secondary phone only.

The validity of 4G Data [10GB-1GB=9GB] is 30 days only from the day you SMS keyword: Start to 1925. So, one should send the SMS only after he/she receives SMS from RCom stating that 4G is Live at their location! otherwise the 4G Data validity may expire before 4G is available!

I did not send any sms still, got that 9 GB data (without any formal information). It is scheduled to expire on 8-8-2016.

I don't think they r cheating in dis. I got 1gb on d day of sim activation and now 9gb in all my 5 connections. But this all is 2g data that's useless. Even using Aircel 3g gives 50kbps speed. Nobody can use 9gb 2g in 20days. I am in lko and I can not see any sign of starting 4g. Only gud thing is dat dey allowed mnp. So now i dont have to go on d road 4 calling.

They promised 4g data after migration. For per-migration 1 gb data, we had to recharge with 97 rupees. Those who recharged with 1 rupee, did not get that 1 gb.

9216 MB = 9 GB. maybe they have deducted 1 GB out of promised 10 GB, which they have given just after conversion of cdma from 4g.

    no idea about other questions..

Yes, it appears that they have deducted 1 GB from post migration benefit. But it is clearly cheating as 10 GB was promised. Moreover, it expired in 21 days while 30 days was promised.

Thanks @ajay16 for noticing this, I also received. I think, that's the post LTE migration benefit. Probably RCOM means post-migration is conversion from CDMA to LTE, not when we start to use 4G.

    Questions raised:

    1. Why have they given 9 GB instead of 10 GB?

    2. Why is it 2G net balance instead of 4G net balance?

    3. Why should it expire just after 21 days instead of 30 days?

Are you able to use 4G data with that 2G balance?

Really amused at seeing how low this ADA company stoop to. First they gave SIMS at 93-97 + 25 (and whatever premium shopkeeper charged), then they made it Re 1 and then it was free.. all at promise of call charges being carried forward. In the end all call plans reset to 2p/sec.

Well, yes. They looted their customers..  I have 2 numbers. I recharged  my first number with Rs, 97 and the second number with Re. 1. The base plan on first number is 1p./sec now while on second number, it is 2p./sec.

In Bangalore after 4G SIM activation I'm getting very low speed, between 5 and 15 KBPS.

CC guy says SIM needs to be patched (software upgrade in CC's words) whereas Web world guy says 4G migration not completed;.4G data speed will be available after 25 July. Can anyone shed some light? Which is correct?

Your sim is getting registered on the network, which is possible only after migration. Get your patched if needed. Your are getting EDGE network that's why you are getting low speed. Try to register on UMTS/WCDMA network. Re-enable national roaming from sim tool kit and restart your device.

I know someone who didn't recharge with one rupee after getting the 4g sim and now it's upgraded. Any idea or tips on how to recharge now. With Paytm what network should I pick.
Also what are the recharge denominations for full talk time

Recharge of Re. 1 has been removed now.

Full talk time recharge - like 55, 80 etc - is the same as it was . As far as the network is concerned, I am confused, too. So, for a trial, I picked 'reliance gsm' as the network. Success! It worked. And, last evening, I got my cell recharged by a  retailer who used his CDMA recharge balance. But today CDMA recharged catalogue has been removed from the rcom's website (for few circles). So, I think, until recharge websites like paytm or mobikwik put an option for Reliance 4g, we should pick reliance gsm as network.

Few days back, I said its not expected that RCom may say "Hey FU(K OFF... NO 10GB free data for you" to their customers directly. But RCom proved that, they can do anything and said exactly the same to their customers now. The 10GB free data WAS REALLY A FOOLISH (as it will surely backfire them) UN-ETHICAL TRAP by RCom..

Really? How can they do this?

Nope i have removed reinserted SIM multiple times it does not help, appears that we may have to wait longer for the issue to be fixed from reliance side. My question is which LTE band is reliance using in Karnataka circle as my phone(LG G3 verizon) appears to have only  LTE band 4(1700/2100) & 13(700), so i am doubtful if my LTE will be working, anyone can confirm ?

    LG G3 LS990 for Sprint  supports 850 Mhz. LG G3 VS985 for Verizon doesn't.
