you should wipe your cache and data first Aur try only wiping. Then you flash again.

at last a good news Maverick is able to EH03 GB Rom.
By online help of sunil, as i talk with phone.

I think when an incoming call is coming you can access to your dial pad...
don't know about the flas what you have made.
and I am helped by sunil online through DFS CDMA tools.
these guys are helping me a lot.

Hi everyone!
I currently have a samsung sch-i500 (same as verizon fascinate) which I bought from RELIANCE. It's currently running the stock OS ie android 2.1 eclair. Now I want to update my phone to android 2.2 or 2.3. I have a few queries:
1) can a handset bought from reliance be upgraded to froyo or gingerbread without losing evdo and calls?
2) I've gone through this thread and find almost everyone here has a verizon fascinate.
Can someone help me out with the same by either giving a step by step procedure (currently very confused between all these different roms and different procedures.
Else, if someone could personally help me out...
3) how do i find my min no?
My phone details are as follows Hardware version i 500.04 Firmware version 2.1 update Baseband version s: i500.04 v.dl10 Kernel: 2.6.29 Build no SCH-I500.DL14

I think you can update by selecting these options...
goto settings > about phone > status. there you can write down your min no.
goto settings > about phone > system updates.

anybody any idea of *SanDisk Memory Card Mobile Ultra 8 GB Class 6* is compatable with *Samsung Fascinate I500* Mobile handset.
is it faster than "Transcend Memory Card MicroSDHC 8GB Class 10".

I have flashed SC 3 Milestone 2 and its superb ROM, very stable. I am loving it. Will upload the screenshots, but not sure why it isn't working? Tried to take it, can someone tell me how to take screenshots in Fascinate?
default way of taking screenshot in fascinate is by pressing and holding the back soft key and pressing the power button.

here is one thing what is means by CWR & CWM.....
As i understand you are now on EH03 rom. When you long press the power button you get options to silent mode, airplane mode, power off, reboot, recovery or download mode. Here just select the recovery mode it will take you to recovery mode and you will be able to flash the rom.

when I am pressing the power button, it shows only 3 options.....
silent mode, airplane mode, power off. what u have said the other two option is not coming reboot & the recovery or download mode.
then I tryout the above Joshm's method.....
switch off
press volup + vol down + power button together it shows...
Android system recovery <3e>
Enter : ok key, select : vol up / vol down
reboot system now
apply update from sd card
wipe data/fatory reset
wipe cache partition

Finally I am on Gingerbread rom
Thanx to sunilromy.
He was online & helped me do that with DFS CDMA tools 3.3.0.7
but for some reason I could not connect to cdma workshop.
this tool not recocnize my Port. don't know why.
again thanx to sunilromy.
and also jasmin. who recomended sunil.

updated to gingerbread...but after booting the phone keeps looping in media scanning and keeps asking for language choice...
as u said i am follow thisprocess...after dialing **87284 select Modem in USB section then I am opening cdma workshop connected the phone with the PC.
after that i am opennig the device manager of windows then selecting the same pot number in cdma workshop > Main > COM settings > but The Phone information not displayed in CDMA workshop and one more thing when I am hitting SPC button it shows to option send or write. which button should be selected. i select the write button in the bottom it shows "failed..connected to COM Port before". and one more thing in NAM settings > in DIR_NUMBER option > add your phone number > then it has four button Load, Save, Read & Write. again which button should be selected.
my incomming outgoing calls are ok. but I am stack in the middle. PLZ help me.
