There is a lot of speculation regarding using RUIM cards that are now available on relaince. Would like to tackle the issues pointwise such that it is easy for even for reliance users living in ancient times. 1) Does ruim card give freedom to use any RUIM enabled cdma handsets from around the world? 2) Do these phones need to have a clean ESN as abroad CDMA phones are freely available in both the options, with or without it? 3) Can a cdma pda handset bought from usa operate onrelaince using this RUIM? 4) What if this phone is of sprint or any other service provider, can we still use this phone on reliance? 5) Can we use r world ? 6) can we use internet (R connect) ?

hi i thing there is a major vacuum for the pda handsets to be launched by reliance i am sure reliance the company will find many takers if sensibily priced. there are so many options available for these handsets abroad, its a pity we have to cope with the phones of the jurassic age. the treo 700w seems to be a beauty and tempting , but alas it cannot be activated here. can we expect better handsets soon? pl update also can the 700w be activated here.

hi i am a regular user of gsm for the last 8 years , but have found reliance much cheaper and better. would like to shift completely to this service . BUt the biggest detterent is the pathetic handsets cdma handsets available in india.(this nokia 6255 is a big dissapointment) AMAZING hand sets are available in US and was wondering if there is any way those PDA or symbian60 3G handsets could be acivated for use on reliance. pl enlighten me guys.
