  1. I have just bought HTC EVO design with gsm unlocked, CDMA ruim enabled. GSM of all is working fine. CDMA RUIM of reliance is working, MTS ruim is giving the message that no network ( whereas the same ruim in other handset is working fine ) Tata ruim is giving the message that no sim present. What can be the problem ?

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL RIMWEBIANS Dear Gurus I am facing a peculiar problem on my Tataindicom actiavted HTC Incredible, all sms which are arriving does not have phone numbers displayed properly, i.e. if the message is from phone number 9233340015, it would display as D923334DD15, this renders in not able to identify the sender from the phonebook. Got this phone from Tushar Khoobchandani and he said this issue is with Tataindicom. Can I get any solution for the same ??????????? Thanks in advance.

    subsequent to rooting of the phone one thing which has surfaced is that the phone on its own vibrates for brief second without any reason and touch interface also is behaving improperly, I have just installed titanium backup subequent to rooting of the phone. Gurus any suggestion ?

    I am enjoying the cdma ( omh ruim based ) as well as gsm sim based motorola droid razr m for all aspects, except for the fact that I am not able to tehter either in gsm as well as cdma mode. How can the same be acheived ? Kindly guide.
  15. As per the feedback received OMH or non OMH any form of usage which has 3g usage in it will not have any adjustment from either 43 or 94 plan. The moment there is 3g usage if HSIA plan is actiavted then deduction from there will happen or suitable amount as per the base plan for internet usage will be deducted from the main balance.

    I have tried both non ohm as well as omh ruim of both tata as well as reliance and all have worked except for data part whcih only works through proxy for tata, for reliance i do not know as i do not have the settings for reliance.
  22. I have HTC EVO DESIGN 4G with cdma ruim or gsm sim option. I would like to know if I upgrade to ICS will the above option of either gsm sim or cdma ruim would continue ? As to what I understood that once I upgrade to ICS then also rooting is possible as per the above mentioned process. Waiting for your reply.

    Person from whom the phone was bought said that proxy settings would work for tata, downloaded ANY Cut and did the proxy settings which were working on htc droid incredible 1, no result.

    I am using HTC EVO Design with the cdma ruim or gsm sim with tata cdma sim inserted and working. Now I got an option today with ICS upgrade , should I go with it and will it disturb the cdma ruim settings or not ?

    OMH RUIM of TATA is working now, only problem was that when u wan to change to cdma u have to select the ANY CDMA option from the setting list and thne switch the phone off and then then insert the ruim and switch the phone on, tata cdma starts working. Now I can see the 3g data sign also , but there is no data exchange , HOW TO GET THIS WORKING ?
