Although it may be known to many that handsets which are world phone and which have been made to work for both gsm or cdma through sim/ruim , are not always capable to run EVDO, wherein 3g on gsm runs smoothly ( HTC Evo Design is one such case ) Below mentioned settings works smoothly for HTC Incredible 2 for Tata Evdo through OMH ruim. Tata CDMA Data settings for omh card Please do following ---- Settings -> Wireless & networks ->Mobile Networks ->CDMA Options ->Access Point Names -> Add New APN -> (Note: MDN is your mobile number) Name - TATANet APN - TATANet Username - MDN@omh.ttsl.in Password - password Authentication Type - PAP or CHAP PPP Phone Number - #777 Had tried the same on HTC Evo design, but could not do the same as there is no option in HTC Evo design for adding an APN in Cdma mode. with the above setting EVDO is running smooth on Tata CDMA.

I still have that D=0 problem in droid Incredible 1 for sms only. no settings r required just insert the ruim in the handset and select omh profile and evdo works. there is no proxy involved as all applications are working with this .

just change the APN to TATANet and evdo will work, i am using the same on HTC Incredible 2

Dear Guru's I need guidance as to how to save the settings of Tatacdma on HTC Droid Incredible 1. My phone fell down and browser of the phone gave a response "force closure" and during restart message received that UI is unsatble and needs attention. Although voice, sms is working data through phone browser is not working and phone has become un-responsive during certain times. How to save the settings of the phone so that after factory reset ( assuming factory reset will solve the problem ) tata settings could be re-installed and then how to restore the settings. Phone is configured for 1X data through proxy settings.

In West Bengal OMH ruim are available for post-paid ( could not confirm for pre-paid) and EVDO is working aboslutely fine in Asansol, have subscribed for data pack by sending a sms to 58265 mentioning "DB94" ( without quotes ) , this is giving me 5gb of high speed data for Rs.94 only. This is cheapest amongst all , gsm or cdma. I am using the ruim in samsung i559 without any problems at all.

Dear Gurus Have heard that Firmware for Android HTC Droid Incredible 2.3 is available. I am getting the message that download available for system update but when I agree for installation , nothing happens. I have not rooted my incredible and I want to downgrade from 2.3 to 2.2 coz low memory issues is not letting me install any new application and hence this OFFICIAL UPGRADE to me is useless.

I spoke with few old gurus , they say that official GB for dinc is giving this problem to most of the users , they are suggesting other roms for the same. For this the phone has to be rooted. Is it so ????

Yes the same site opens in WiFi There is no problem in WiFi It is correct that https sites are not opening Internet is running through proxy setting ie tatazone pack is activated So the proxy might not be supporting secure (https) protocol. whats the way out ?

I am not getting 4.3 hours of talking , on a standby duration of 4 hours, I am getting 30 mins of talktime only. are the battery on ebay usa site good ? also how can I pay for them in indian rupees ?
