  1. He said he is using it on his OMH Samsung handset!!! Then what is 'who says' for?
  2. Absolutely true, I agree with you. RCOM needs to improve a hell of a lot on CC to catch up with Airtel. Otherwise, Airtel will become world's No.1 and RCOM will be last in India... ADA, its time to pay attention to RCOM and not RNRL.... :Contento:
  3. Site That Ships Duty Free Stuff To India

In that case, we can mutually gift each other? Like you gift to dkaile, he gifts to sadikk, sadikk gifts to arun and so on??? Or can we mutually gift to each other like kshah gifts to me and I gift to kshah? @sadikk, Nokia 6630 is mentioned on this website, but it is out of stock. Is it the same one which is the only S60 CDMA phone? See here or am i confused?
  4. Site That Ships Duty Free Stuff To India

Good Find. Useful for those who import small things into India...
  5. I agree with Kunal on this. RCOM can garner more info from their customers directly rather than thro' this survey....
  6. The All New Rimweb!

, Sometime around 9.30AM yesterday from my computer and after that I did not log-in from any other device. Yesterday when I changed the settings in my profile, immediately I got around 4 pages of 'View New Content', after that I went through some posts/topics and then I marked as 'read all items'. After about half an hour, the results were 7 entries in 'View New Content' (VNC)which was correct. But today morning, the results are as in post# 147. Right now, the results are as follows: - In 'VNC' there are 4 new entries. In 'TAC' there are 21 new entries. I have not marked as 'read all items' today. In 'TAC' we cannot mark as 'read all items' Anyway lets wait for 3.0.3, which will hopefully provide better results and features.
  7. The All New Rimweb!

I could not find this topic earlier and hence I could not post....There seems to be some problem somewhere in 'View New Content' and alsoToday's Active Content' Then I went to my profile settings and changedthe settings there, but once again today, the 'View New Content' showsme only 7 entries whereas the 'Today's Active Contents' showed me 20entries. There is some flaw in the logic....
  8. No harm in claiming anything, you see!!!! People believe anything!!!
  9. How To Get This Device

@kshah, Have you noticed the pricing in INR for Oxygen Forensic Edition? It is a mind boggling Rs 61000+!!!! :Decepcionado:
  10. How To Get This Device

@chandannasta, At $150, don't you think it is as costly as a mid-end mobile today? Add the customs duties, clearing charges etc and you will end up paying almost the price of a high end mobile with which you can easily PC Sync and get almost the same details (Maybe not deleted ones) Think it over... :NOTriste:
  11. Nokia N900 Announced

The Indian price will definitely cross 35k, but then its a beauty, after all.
  12. Postpaid Tariff Plans

, I too think its time to say goodbye to RGSM. After Tata-DoCoMo's entry, and with the recent stupid moves by rcom to limit free Onnet usage only to CDMA on some plans, It is high time everybody junked RGSM. It does not make any sense to remain with them at all. They will not lower the tariffs (thats what the CC says when asked to provide competing tariffs) just because TD has come into the picture. Maybe they will also introduce per second billing shortly to counter Tata-DoCoMo's growing numbers. Maybe they will read the subscribers numbers and the ARPUs generated by this tariff model and then jump.
  13. I too share the same view, but the way RCOM is going on for the last 6 months or more, it appears that they want to exit CDMA business not immediately but maybe 2,3 or 4 years down the line. And they will do so after grabbing 3G spectrum and will thus demand a very high price for their CDMA business. These are my observations, lets wait and see....
  14. Does the above mean that they will introduce a CDMA cum GSM handset or just another CDMA handset? They already have produced 6265, 6275, 6235 etc etc in which any CDMA SIM works, so whats new here?
  15. Change Of Ownership

If it is a secondary number and you do not mind losing it to someone else, then just forget the matter and get on with life!!!! Stop worrying, get a new RGSM or Tata DoCoMo SIM and carry on....
  16. Airtel Bb Personal Mail Prepaid On Bb 8830

, Yes you are right. It is free across all operators from post to pre and also vice versa. @Dr.Gagan, If they have not been able to activate BIS on prepaid, how will you be able to do it once again when you migrate to pre? Or is it that since you have already activated BIS on post, they will have to do it for pre also?
  17. Change Of Ownership

, AFAIK, as per TRAI rules, they cannot allot your number to any one else for 6 months after you surrender/close it. So how did it happen in your case? Threaten them with legal action or tell them you will complain to TRAI, see their reaction. All the best....
  18. / Ravi, Check out with Croma, Reliance Digital and EZone before deciding. Or better still go to Ritchie Street. I think the price for 60GB is very high, nowadays you get a 250GB for around 3K or 3.5K. Look around before buying.
  19. Wishing all Fellow RIMwebians Ramzan Mubarak and Happy Vinayak Chaturthi.
  20. Sony Ericsson Cdma Walkman Series !

AFAIK, in Japan it is not Sony-Ericsson but only Sony. A friend of mine who shifted from Japan recently has brought along with him a couple of such phones but they are only paper weights here. They operate on 3G only and are not compliant with 2G networks. They are far, far advanced than what we see here.
  21. Brain Teasers

@56, How many times can you subtract the number 5 from 25? Only once as the question says the number 5. After the number 5 is subtracted, the remainder is 20 and therefore the number 5 cannot be subtracted anymore. P.S. Doc. KMM has already beaten me to it.
  22. New Stv 31 For Tn/chennai

I dont think they will ever bring out such offers for RCDMA. All development has stopped for CDMA. It is better to move to GSM, which is what they actually want. But the ground reality is that their GSM network is pathetic at many places. Even the STD rates are very low as compared to other operators except perhaps TataDoCoMo. OT, Voda, Chennai is offeringa new STV35 by which all STD calls to any number across South India will be at Re 0.50 p.m. And similarly STV 22 for metro calls (Mumbai, Kolkata and NDelhi from Chennai) will be at Re 0.50 p.m.
  23. New Rc For Kerala

, Yes 750 free SMS per day and that too (atleast for TN) Local and National - onnet and offnet. RGSM has come out with a new SMS war now or they have misplaced their brains. Only the 1st 3 SMS (either local or national) are chargeable, thereafter 750 SMS (both local and national) free per day. Sounds too good to be true!!! Hope RGSM does not withdraw this scheme.... Check in Kerala for the above offers....
