Good Plans From Tata Indicom
KumaarShah replied to hritik123's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
^^^ I thought that the STD termination/IUC charges were the same for local and std calls. Or am I wrong? -
Is Mukesh Ambani Planning To Develop A New Telecom Company?
KumaarShah replied to savramesh's topic in Reliance Communications
So going by the same argument, in this case, will we see ADA starting RIL, RPL clones etc??? I think it is highly improbable that it will happen. Many people have noticed the latest bonhomie between the brothers recently, but maybe that would be for public consumption only. And being the hubby of a film actress, it is not difficult to learn the ropes of acting... -
The 9 Crore Versus 30 Crore Spend To Garner Subscribers
KumaarShah replied to ravi_patent's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
^^^ Whoa!!!! What a ploy to get additional scarce spectrum!!! Jai Ho RCOM !!!! No one can beat their thinking. But on the satisfaction index, Jai Ho will not work as there are terrible network problems everywhere. It is also interesting to note that none of the other newcomers will start their services within the next 12 months. Purely ambitious thinking. Lets wait and watch!!!! -
Reliance Launches Customer Experience Programme For Gsm
KumaarShah replied to Arun's topic in Miscellaneous
The CEP should actually mean Customer Exasperation Programme instead of Customer Experience Programme now. -
^^^ As usual brilliant answers and services by RCOM. IMHO, people will definitely not touch RCOM for either GSM or CDMA if they make up such stupid services. Do they expect the customer to visit them hundreds of times to get a SIM activated? They should have thought properly before launching services. This is what happens when you have a foreign highly educated person at the top???

Reliance Gsm Networks Features And Gprs Settings
KumaarShah replied to HetalDP's topic in Miscellaneous
I think people will have to wait atleast six months for RGSM to become fully functional. Thats why they have offered six months of free TT. -
I also agree fully with dkaile. Live within your means always. A credit card will only trap you sometime in future if you are not careful in its usage. As for debit cards, merchants ask for some charges while using it. Something around 1.5 to 2.5%, why pay them extra for using your own money. This is actually ridiculous. All Indian debit cards should be free to use. It is understandable for credit cards but for debit cards, it makes no sense. We can as well carry cash.

Reliance Launches Customer Experience Programme For Gsm
KumaarShah replied to Arun's topic in Miscellaneous
The number of dis-gruntled users will only exponentially grow with the passage of time. I still feel rcom has made a serious mistake in urgently launching such half-baked services. -
Reliance Launches Customer Experience Programme For Gsm
KumaarShah replied to Arun's topic in Miscellaneous
^^^ CDMA launch only had connectivity with other networks problem, but here RCOM GSM seems to have network availability problem itself. The former can be condoned, but the latter problem cannot be condoned. What was the urgency to launch the services if they were not ready in the 1st place? They only seem to have succeeded in making great fools of themselves. There are a lot of people to whom service matters the most, and not the lack of it. If one wants to be ADA's guinea pigs, all the best to them. Good that they have not yet introduced in major cities because they know for sure that their WW/WWEs would be destroyed!!! IMHO, we RIMwebians are the only species to have abundant patience with RCOM. So many around us just run away from the word 'Reliance' itself. Thank God it is not yet launched in Chennai (just checked on this and confirmed with CC). Let the RoI experiment, hope we will be the last to taste RCOM GSM- maybe the full version!!!! Not the trial edition or the limited version!!!! -
Sony Ericsson Launches Five New Phones

Airtel Introduces Lifetime Prepaid For Rs. 99
KumaarShah replied to Saurav's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
@ @mitj@in, Does RCOM want to kill CDMA from now itself by giving slow poison? AFAIK, Voda, Aircel and Airtel are selling LT at Rs 49 to Rs 101, yet RCOM is still merrily selling? LT at Rs 199.. No other offers also for the New Year!!! -
Blackberry Storm Launched By Vodafone In India For 27990
KumaarShah replied to lavi4u's topic in BlackBerry
^^^ they have to show some sales and profits, so one model after another will have some feature or the other left out always.... all are the same be they SE or Nokia or HTC or Palm or anything else... Only if we share our knowledge here, we will not fall into their traps and buy crap phones.... -
Reliance Launches Customer Experience Programme For Gsm
KumaarShah replied to Arun's topic in Miscellaneous
^^^ I don't think it will coincide with TATA NANO at all, because then they will not give free TT for 6 months.... the way things are panning out, it will be a long, long way off.... It will most likely be some time in June or July 2009. Anyone knows when Tina or ADA's birthday falls or their anniversary or their son's? Or maybe it will co-incide with mummy dearest's BD!!! Or maybe it will coincide with any one of these dates!!! he he he he DHA's birthdate is only for MDA, after all, ADA ke paas to Maa hain!!! -
^^^ exactly...But also check with CC or CMO on new offers. All LT will have a minimum recharge of Rs 200 every 6 months and the 1/2/3 years validity will have a good cost attached to it initially and no min. recharge conditions after that. Choose your best option....

^^^ Don't get caught doing wrong or illegal things... Think properly before you leap... AFAIK, this will have some problems...

Reliance GSM - Problems ! Problems ! & Problems!
KumaarShah replied to ipkonfig's topic in Miscellaneous
^^^ With this kind of Customer experience, people will get tired of Reliance like they got tired with CDMA and never ever touched it again. Many of my relatives and friends tried out RCDMA iitially and fed up with lack of connectivity, they sold/threw away the CDMA handsets and went for GSM. They never returned to Reliance at all. Once again, history will repeat.... RCOM should set right all things first and then launch, is what I feel. Absence of connectivity/network etc will be a major setback which RCOM should avoid at all costs. -
^^^ Wait till the complete launch is done all India.... What about roaming????
-
Jai RCOM!!!! Enjoy RCOM-GSM like never before and never again!!!!
-
^^^ Lucky guy!!!! All the best!

Reliance Mobile Internet Data Plan Introduced Wef 7th Dec 2008
KumaarShah replied to @mitJ@in's topic in Data services
^^^ It is for L0 customers that the new data plans were introduced. If your data usage billing is above 100/=, then you should ideally go in for Plan 99 or 199 immediately. -
Why has the promo TT reduced to Rs 5 from Rs 10 per day? ADA got cold feet so quickly or what? Or right hand not knowing what the left hand is upto? This is, as usual, in RCOM!!!! I feel the call rates are too high as all other operators in Chennai/TN are offering at 50/40ps pm for local calls and Rs1 / Rs 1.30 / Rs 1.50 pm for STD calls. The call charges after using up the 1st free Rs 5 is too high. ADA and RCOM are only fooling customers like this. And no STVs also as yet???? What about roaming? anyone used it while roaming? what are the roaming charges? In Chennai, still no RCOM GSM launch!!!! Funnily *222 told me yesterday that it was launched and I can get teh SIM from the WW/WWE. But then I called up 1800 100 3333 and was told that services in Chennai still not launched and no idea about the date also.

Vodafone Offer For Post-paid Users !
KumaarShah replied to Honest's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
^^^ In Chennai/TN already launched some two months back. There are no postpaid plans available. One has to take a LT plan for some Rs 500 and then add various calling and sms packs and create your own plan...... -
^^^ Whats the price? Is it new or used?
