look at this post i had purchased a new MTS ohm Sim I have samsung S239, i can use phone browser but cant use the same sim to connect to internet, The connection is established but there is no data transfer. I did complained to cc but useless they say that other then corby no handset can be used to connect to pc

really nice advise given by rajan, Dr. in case if nothing works go for prepaid as per your requirement you can get your prepaid account refill, even i was using the same pack in reliance so far as i know the unused min. can be carried forward to next month in case you recharge on the last day of its validity. when i was using the same the free min used to be added whenever i used to recharge, you can also try it incase if the free min are added you can recharge as per your requirement say for eg. u can ask a dealer to recharge with 80 rs. may be 5 times at a shot, the dealer will do the same keeping 15 min gap for each recharge, which will give you 200*5 i.e 1000 min to be used in one month, this will even end ur hassle of going to the prepaid dealer a couple of times. but before doing try out with only 2 recharge of Rs. 80, so that u can check if min are added. you can also go for MTS, incase you get range in your clinic, their web page for Goa shows that they have a voucher of 199 which gives 1000 local min

sir if you opt for reliance go for prepaid rather then postpaid, though on postpaid the local call may be 30ps, but if tax is added it will work out to be approx. 0.34ps, incase if your calling is more than 1600 min per month then only postpaid will workout to be cheaper than prepaid.

I own a ford figo (Diesel) and swift (Petrol), prior to that i had all maruti vehicle, ever since i have purchased the car i am not happy with it, the engine makes lot of noise it looks like an genset has been started, surprising to see such a product from ford, about mileage company ppl claimed the mileage to be 22KMPL but i am getting only 16Kmpl, have driven vehicle 14000Km, no improvements, with 4 months injectors were replaced there was hell lot of noise from engine. Even Swift diesel doesnot make such noise as compared to figo. Figo is horrible. I still Feel Maruti is Maruti, I love my swift which has done 85000kms, and the feel that i get driving it is still the same. May be i am comparing wrong cars, if any body is planning to buy a new car go for swift, its the best. you wont regret for this decision.

have tou guys noticed one thing there is no voucher which is valid for more then 1 month in 3G as compared to EVDO of reliance, Tata and MTS

Take a prepaid Card and use it as data modem. Dont try any stunts with postpaid you may get a heavy bill at the end of your billing cycle

Guys, I have recently purchased samsung m power Tv and some times connect it to pc using data cable, connection used is TATA, was suprised to know that there are no seperate data packages for mobile and as per the dealer tata provides the same on Photon+ only. If any one is using any data packs on prepaid either on TATA or relaince pl update.

when 3G was launched speed was great but now in Goa the speed is not so good it is reduced day by day, may be because of too many users.

I prefer BSNL best till now

Its good pack but u will have to search for 3G network outside ur office/home. In Goa docomo 3G signals are live but i get only edge signals in my house if i go out of house i get 3G. Its useless unless they improve their coverage....

Hi all, I have recently purchased Idea netsetter 3g modem which is unocked to all operators, and i am using BSNL 3g sim card in it, The download speed of BSNL 3g is 0.29mbps if the same is tested on speedtest.net is it due to modem or fault of BSNL??? I am from Goa, has any one tested the speed of Bsnl 3g in their area, if yes kinldy update the speed and the device used
