  1. hmmmmm ok... how to get it disabled? Ok, I also tried one more thing, downloaded XP Patch for USB 1.1 and 2.00 but they did not have any effect
  2. hi, I updated the machine with the new USB driver provided from RIM. However the only additional step that I got was for activating RConnect i.e. by calling *412 but the problem is that my LG RD2030 is still not being recognised by the laptop and I am getting a message of unkown USB device. Any suggestions? PS: Can I get RConnect disabled till this thing is resolveD? Dont want Dhiru ka sapna to make my money uska apna! Is the RConnect enabling adding some monthly fee? Regards, Rohit
  3. Junta, Thanks for the very enthu reply to my query, but we seem to have got lost from my original question: 1) I am using Windows XP on a Vaio laptop 2) The data cable and phone modem is not getting recognised even after I installed the LG RD 2030 drives on the the laptop 3) I checked the laptop and it does not have any serial ports (has a LPT though) 4) I did a scan for new hardware and no serial ports are identified 5) I downloaded BitPim and tried to make it work, it gives the same message that serial ports are not found. Please advise how to make the cell work on USB. I am trying to RConnect. Regards, Rohit
