Saket Sir My phonebook does not even contains 1 Reliance GSM number. Infact my friends phonebook contains only 1 Reliance number that is of me and CDMA. HP RTL Circle has 18 Lac of GSM Base and 3 Lac of CDMA which goes to around 84:16.

Sorry for the mistake its not exactly 20 % its somewhere around 26-27%. Total Subscriber Base of Reliance Comm is 150 Million (Second largest operator by Subscribers), CDMA base is only 42 Million out of that. this comes to around 26% of the total Base. GSM dominates the industry with 650 Million of from this 800 Million industry in India.

Well, I differ in the opinion here. Telcos are here for profits which have already lowered to paisa levels in voice and sms. Tightening them more on profits in data where they have spent big on spectrum, they will reduce on costs which resultantly will land into network infra shortage, unskilled customer support and more jobs retrenchment. They wont change it till the time you give the documents in same name. To combat this, write a mail to the nodal officer of the circle stating that you are the bonafide user of the said number from x number of years and you dont know the documents which are updated in their system. Being a genuine customer you are ready to provide ur documents again. Your problem shall get addressed. Changed the Radio to Radio_2.15.00.11.19 with custom ROM, it worked .....Reverted back to the Stock ROM with the same verison of Radio....again stopped working Than why not use custom rom Some how i dont like the build and it drains battery like anything....as is the battery life of EVO you know

I have rooted my phone and installed a customer ROM on my EVO 4G and Boom 1x started working. :w00t: If I now revert back to the Stock ROM would the 1X be working,

Friends I have two HTC Handsets, EVO 4G and EVO 3D. I have two RIM XXXXX51313 active on 3D and XXXXX11110 active on EVO 4G. My requirement is i want to interchange the numbers between the two handsets.. I want my XXuXXX51313 active on EVO 4G and vice versa. XXXXXX51313 is EVDO active where as the XXXXX11110 is not. I can get the MDN retain/Handset change done from my end. Problem is: What changes do I need to do in order to keep the EVDO/1X working on both the handsets. Do I only need to change the PPP User name and password (MDN/MDN) only or there are more changes to be done. Pls help.

My problem is not fixed yet, but the occurance is very rare, say once in a fortnight. Otherwise my voice and data works smooth. Its rare but annoying so if some guru puts some light on this, it shall help me also;) Sent from my HTC EVO 3D
