^^^ Your number had been wrongly ported in to Vodafone Prepaid by Vodafone which they realized later or in their reconciliation and have terminated your number. As per the regulator's guidelines, number once terminated can not be recreated by the recipient operator. This CC guys would not be able to help you. Write a mail to the appellate authority of the circle ( details can be found on Vodafone site) or mark the complaint to ap@trai.gov.in

It would certainly be a network related issue. Rare probability of issue with Handsets. I had used Tata docomo once and had faced a similar type of issue. However the repetition count was two or three. Need to be checked and fixed by Service Provider only.

Havent yet.. dont even know whether this was done before I bought... For those who updated.. is there a considerable increase in Battery life? Today I had got OTA update to the version mentioned, updated ! will see if it improves battery life

How can I check that on my phone, dont know anything about programming and all. Got this phone from Parin, dont know if he has already done that if thats the required one kinda !

Just got my EVO 3D from Parin, I felt the battery backup of this phone very low. I mean a few calls and a few mails pushed that battery gets exhausted in 5-6 hours. Is the battery backup like this only or I may have to check something in this phone.

DoT has already questioned and stated the process of 3G spectrum sharing illegal. Economic Times said that the ministry is even thinking of giving notice to A + V + I for the MOU of spectrum sharing between them. It has termed it as Breach of License Condition and has clearly said that the licensee can not offer 3G where it has not purchased the spectrum. Operators may also get penalized for this breach of license.

TRAI has confirmed to issue show cause notice to all these operators for breach of the licence agreement...Moreover the operators will also be penalized in crores....

@hetal bhai.....no license has been cancelled of any operator as of now...the operators have been given show cause notice....which would further closed on a penalty only....ICR or riding on tata's prl u can say is the best way to work in this revenue stagnant industry.....infact u will see the large operators airtel, vodafone riding on each others network for 3G, Revenue has to be analysed before investment is what the MTS people are thinking...and they are right....

MTS is the only operator from the new entrants who seems to be serious in business. Entering into dying cdma business+ MNP above that....it is very tough to survive in this multi billion telecom market...I am sure that MTS will have a dominance in the cdma market soon and it shall bring good handset to the market...

With the current price which Reliance has paid for aquiring 3G (GSM) spectrum, they won't be able to meet this cost in next 10 years from the current quality of acquisition of RGSM. The acquisition of CDMA may be small in number vis a vis GSM acquisition but the revene share is almost equivalent or more of CDMA. Country wide, the major REC (revenue earning customers) of Reliance are on CDMA who have not left the network even after MNP due to the network stability of CDMA over GSM. + EVDO is one thing which 3G dongle is not able to beat (again network stability of CDMA over GSM) Forget it Reliance will never shut down their CDMA business.
