Motorola Photon vs Droid Incredible 2 - Do We Have A Winner?
dpak replied to ::: VA :::'s topic in General Technical Discussion
i guess its price vs performance ratio factor on which person should choose a device. before choosing a gadget every one should know the consumption appetite like e.g. how much hours you intent to spend with it? its quite difficult to say winner clearly as both the phones belongs to different class according to their spec sheet.like apples can't be compared to bananas though they belong to same category called fruit.as per my understanding on paper specs wise photon is clearly a winner but as for as lay man usage is concerned incredible 2 beats photon with its "ease of use" in terms of dual network compatibility(world phone). lastly nothing is perfect its all about advantages over disadvantages -

MTS India Launches CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase-II Network - MBlaze Ultra with 9.8 Mbps speed
dpak replied to alugobi's topic in Other Network / Cellular Providers
well some how as a lay man i feel advancement of technology is crucial for development but on the same way it should me affordable and efficient . IMHO if someone launch hi-tech service or product but cannot affordable to comman man then all the efforts are waste.i encourage consumerism rather than capitalism where in people at least get things according to value for their money. Well food for thought is i own MTS broadband connection for about 2 years now they advertise like 3MBPS or higher but honestly i never get more than .50MBPS average speed i get .20 MBPS...customer service is pathetic when you demand for speed then these people wont listen up to you.I do not demand for 3MBPS from them at least please provide 1MBPS for survival to the consumer in exchange for his money.i pay 1000 rs per month to them. They cant manage EVDO REV A how will i believe they will be efficient with EVDO REV B. Conclusion its good for MTS that they will trap some more customer in exchange they will get quick and good return on their investment . -

dpak replied to faizca's topic in Other handsets
Good effort in CDMA section but no use if it doesn't support dual standby mode its the most important feature of dual sim phone. specs shows... a weak battery only 700mah. p.s. A while back i was searching for Dual SIM Dual Standby CDMA handset unfortunately no luck i tried a lot if any one knows one let me know i need it. -

i guess IRDA have said some big words here if it possible then hats off to them nothing like it....i agree with @confused_follower. Firstly in insurance sector IRDA have laid standard protocols(means process followed by insurance companies to create health insurance products) not the standard health insurance policies(like price of the crude oil same for every one). insurance is a concept where risk of few shares among to manythere fore every insurance company has mortality or morbidity charge(means "purchase price of forthcoming risk in life" given to company to cover the "risk of uncertainty" i.e premium to get your self insured)which is differs a lot for different companies and for different products(like price of 1 lac cover from max bupa is different from appolo Munich or star health insurance ) To make it simple A short story follows Let say maximum treatment in the every hospital is 1000rs for every disease and treatment and i have company ABC with 100 employees(including me) running from past 10 yrs i has experienced that out my 100 employee 10 are on leave most of the times due to medical sickness(big common problem), then i cerated a box name health insurance at my desk..At the salary day i tell every employee to contribute 100 bucks to put in health insurance box which totals about 10000rs i.e enough money to treat 10% of my employees who are randomly on leave due to medical sickness.problem solved. employees are also happy that they dont have to shell out every time 1000 bucks medical treatments which is a hell lot of individualistic burden on every employee. now guess what if a 2 or 3 employee leaves the job i have to raise the contribution to meet the expenses which will e a burden for certain low pay grade employees there fore in my opinion Health insurance portability happens only when irda release a standard mortality or morbidity charge for every disease and treatment(which would be tough task) PS-: short story is just example there are lots of complexities and variations in insurance domain.if it happens successfully then customer will be king in here also So ENJOY READING
