Olympus is for sure a leader in lens industry but the precision is more in their opical instruments like microscopes and biomedical instruments. Nikon is more inclined to industrial prodicts. Kodak is more related to Photography and claim to have invented DigiCams! I, therefore, would strongly recommend Canon and Nikon for mid-range, Kodak for low-range, and Nikon/Canon D-SLRs for prosumers. Nikon launched it's budget range D-SLR model Nikon D50 for consumers worlwide. Priced around RS. 45,000/-, this is going to be an hotcake for those who had an eye on D70 but couldn't afford the same.

As it should be, the light (Light Emitting Diode) has got two LEDs built-in. One with a red display and the other with a green one. These kind of diodes are combination of two diodes fused into a hard coating of white polymers. These LEDs have three legs for Red+Ground+Green channels mentioned as R, 0 & G now onwards. When the current fows from R to 0, Red light is visible. When the current fows from G to 0, Green light is visible. And... when both the channels are active (usually it never happens in a healthy charger if not otherwise configured to display) the combination of Green & Red light appears to be Orange!

You don't need an accelerator for caching files. With Internet Explorer 6 or any other version of IE (well... may be) you can effectively load pages faster on your PC with these tweaks. Open an Internet Explorer window and go to Tools>Internet options. In the History Setttings of General Tab, set as much length as you wish to keep pages for reference in shortcuts under History folder. This is also essential for offline browsing. Now click Settings to customise preferences for storing Temporary Internet files. Increase the Amount of Disk Space to be used by IE to store Temporary files (HTML Scripts, Images etc) as desired. Let IE check newer versions of stored pages "Automatically". Here is the explanation for that. Now, click OK to reach the Internet Options window and under the Advanced tab uncheck "Close unused folders in History and favorites" and restart your PC to let the new settings take effect. After these, you'll never loose (upto the no of days you wish to keep them in History) most of the pages you browse through IE. You Can go to File>Work Offline and view pages you have previously visited with IE. Some pages with session IDs and pages with jhtml/asp/php may not be available in the offline mode.

Tweak Internet Explorer Settings:step By Step
Utsav replied to Utsav's topic in General Technical Discussion
It will depend on how frequently the pages you visit and how frequently the pages change their content. Refreshing will always give you the latest one. -
