I had a film based Yashica camera that came with 28-70mm zoom lens. In terms of digital photography, it was offering 2.5x optical zoom. It was a nice camera with enough zoom for occasinal pranks of an amateur. I think 3x Optical zoom can be enough for amateurs as well as advanced photographers. Apart from that you can attach separate lenses to some digicams from Canon, Sony et al.

What if I have a negative balance and rechaege with *369 and use R-connecr again? Does it continues to connect to the net?

A digicam without an optical zoom is almost useless for those inclined towards professional photography. Digital zoom is useless for those who know to use the basics of Adobe Photoshop. For me the digicam should be from those who are considered best in making optical lenses. Canon, Nikon, Olympus are really good. I prefer Canon's Powershot models for semi-professional photography.

I did. They initially promised that they'll deactivate but later they refused and suggested that I should use security lock instead if my children are exploiting them. I said I forgot the lock code... they said go to service centre... So, Deactivation of R-Connect preactivated phones is not permitted any more... They have banned *4120 for a reason... isn't it?

What about ur balance mohan? Is ur phone working as a new Prepaid phone with all it's features? I mean no trauma of Free R-Connect exploitation?

I've an active PrePaid no. with me which I want to convert into a new Prepaid as it shows neagtive balance!!! I tried *228 from my RD2030 in Kolkata and it logged on to RIM network and asked for the PIN number of GSK... is it possible to convert a "condemned cell" into a sacred one?
