20th! India has a poor performance in this arena!

I use good old time-tested and trusted Nokia 3315 with a HUTCh connection.

Yup, may be by getting calls from aspirants who are still students! They call me up even in the midnight!

Have they started this POP service yet?

That was great! Thanks Code. In fact what i thought at my previous post was wrong and I just came to know that through experience. I usually keep my cell on charging while using RConnect always. Just today, Inoticed my charger showing Green light and I kept the cell on chager and continued with RConnect. It is usually 2hrs & 40 mins which takes my batts to be drained out completely while accessing RConnect. But, as the green light came up, I can be sure that the batts are fully charged. If the batt looses charge, the c harger automatically detects and starts charging the batt while glowing the Red light. What I noticed is the charger never shifted to Red even though I stayed connected with RConnect for more that 6 hours!

I believe RIMWeb users must be having friends and relatives with GSM subscriptions. So why don't we have a GSM section as a part of this site?

Hmmm. That was quite convincing Chirag. Are u in anyway, related to Sales Thanks anyway, this topic may be closed.

I'm with Linuxguy. Many of us use GSM handsets. So why not a thread right here? It is difficult to register for a new site again

I don't think there is any scope of the drainage being directly from the Charger. Rather it should be in FIFO. Just like an OnLine UPS... Well may be

Hi guys, Can any1 tell me if there is any easy process to send SMS from LG RD2030 to multiple users? Sending sms from an LG RD2030 is not easy while it gives so many steps to find a number stored in Phonebook. Recently I found it to be very clumsy to send DurgaPuja and BijoyaDashami wishes to friends and relatives from my handset. Specifically when I send same msg to multiple recipients, it seems very very clumsy. Nokia Handsets have an option "Send To Many" which is very useful to send same SMS to multiple recipients. Is there anything some1 knows for RD2030?

What do u guys would expect from RWorld as a paid service?
-
I dunno whether this should be a separate post or not, but ever noticed/tried that u can send SMS with RD2030 while u r on the net or u r talking

It shows in the website since the first post The question is has anyone got it yet?

Here goes my favourite picture attached herewith. It appears on my PC so often that I have stopped hating it unlike others. I have seen a peculiar problem in my PC while accessing the LG RD2030 with Bitpim. I don't know whether this problem is unique with my PC (as usual) or it has been experienced my many users. But, I really want to raise this topic in this forum. My PC starts misbehaving all of a sudden during accessing the file-system through Bitpim. It stops recognising my RD2030 and stops communicating with it showing the pop-up message attached herewith. Sometimes, Bitpim stops recognising the phone even after disclosing the directory tree appearing under first [+] sign under file-system tab. It may sound weird, but, it is true that i don't know when it will start recognising my phone again. Previously, I have tried various steps like 1. Restoring Serial port drivers using System File Checker, 2. Uninstalling and reinstalling of Serial Ports, 3. Disabling and enabling Serial ports through BIOS and even... 4. REINSTALLING WINDOWS on my SYSTEM! But what appeared is that nothing could restore the accessibility but sheer luck! As it has gone with the wind, in one fiene morning it appeared with the same again. Any light in this regard? What i wanna know is that is it one of the congenital problems lying with the Serial Port of my Motherboard or it may have some other reasons. Have anyone faced this unpredictable accessibility ever? Any solutions?

Still, the question that haunts me is, why the cable used by me prior to the new one could communicate between my RIM and PC smoothly, once detected?
-
Any further idea on the charges?

It's up and running again and I got some responses for the posts submitted in the earlier version!

Hi Nice to see a new link on RIL website for the Senior citizens. The Homepage gives a glance of Social Responsibility of RIL. This seems to be a Club for the old. It offers an Interactive Centre for them May be another business strategy too
