  8. The fact is Tata is not going to invest huge on EVDO expansion. So @sougatdc keep using MTS. @saket & santanu@impaq >> I used MTS at my area (sub urban) and in Kolkata metro (near shyambazar) got almost similar speed. so +1 to MTS, Tata has lots of problem in Kolkata. But @saket u r in mumbai where Tata has great CDMA base!

  16. Option 1: get OMH RUIM with your own handset (for eg Avishek uses G-pop). No extra data benefit. Rs2/MB or get these recharges. ** 20GB data benefit is available in Delhi and Mumbai, but NOT in Kolkata & WB. Option 2: Get OMH RUIM with MTS Net phones - in this case you will get 10GB/month EVDO data for 2months. These Ruims are handset locked and data benefits will be choked if you use it with other devices. Though I was told these recharges are only for mobile users, I am going to take a OMH RUIM, recharge and use on a EVDO dongle.
  17. on mtsindia.in there are some FRC for delhi and mumbai which offers EVDO 10 GB/month for 2 months. Ask CC about these and any plans after that. The above mentioned plans are launched in Kolkata & WB.

    Micromax A85 is great phone with specs, but it would be better Micromax launches it with 12-15K price range. I am sure they can, as they are buying in bulk.

  22. It is wireless and experience varies place to place... In my area MTS EVDO is very good. Photon+ is so-so and Reliance NB+ is worst than dial up ! But surprisingly BSNL has no EVDO coverage here and BSNL 3G inspite of downtime and ping & DNS issues offers 350+ kBps ....

  24. MTNL alreday has pan India 3G coverage via BSNL network - which is largest 3G coverage in India. MTNL will rent its spectrum for Tata docomo and Aircel.
  25. I am planning to buy a camera. I already have a Nikon S210 which gave me a intro with digicam. Now I like to go ahead with pricey camera. Should I go for DSLR or MegaZoom ones? My budget is around Rs 35K. Does any DSLR camera offer 5X optical zoom by default or I have buy a zoom lens? also suggest me some models and online sellers.
