    Installing ruim slot is not tough if someone is good at mobile repairing, but he messes up ..... It's not like that all datacards are not unlockable, we simply do not know the technique.     Its almost sure that 94 is not for data card users! What you can do, convert your connection to prepaid. Here no issue, as r-world guys do it. Next you can unlock your data card, and probably there is no ruim slot, so you have install it from local mobile shop. Now get a reliance omh ruim (easily detected by black diamond sign) and recharge with 94 to enjoy 1GB/ month evdo. Sent from my IRIS_501 using Tapatalk 2

    AFAIK Lenovo's CDMA_EVDO+GSM_2G phones are coming with Reliance. Now if Rcom makes delay, Lenovo has to !

    ^^ if it is showing on online, the plan is definitely available. But these days Rcom offers some xtra if you recharge from its own portal! to have 150 tt, rechrge via Reliance online recharge portal.

    That's profile management by operators, there's no difference b/w voice n data sim. But some mo restrict voice on data card sims.

    as I tested both, 351 - alcatel made - poor battery, hangs frequently, front camera 352 - zte made, battry is good, no hang during my use, no front cam 352 is priced for Rs 1000 more than 351
  17. As far as my opinion, MTS has best coverage in Kolkata, following Reliance and Tata Indicom. But in remote WB Reliance CDMA coverage is not so good, MTS rocks there too.
  18. So as I told earlier MTS will not go pan India stands true. MTS currently commercially available in 15 circles, and 3 circles will go off out of these 15 - Bihar-Jhk, AP and Haryana where MTS has around 15% of total subscriber base. So MTS is planning to stay in 11 circles + Rajasthan now. But as I talked with MTS spokesperson the planning may change depending upon some factors like competition etc. But it is quite certain that MTS is not going to leave the metro circles - Delhi (MTS has highway coverage Delhi to Jaipur), Kolkata (quite good subscriber base) and Mumbai. As a result MTS will have to shell out very few amount!

  21. Court will deliver seperate notice to MTS. And already MTS filed for extension of services. Till date MTS has no services in North East, Jammu Kashmir, Assam, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. So MTS may leave 7 circles, and go for remaining 15 circles, where MTS has EVDO coverage also. Now as competition is almost nil in CDMA, MTS may get the spectrum at base price. MTS can go for 2.5 MHz in certain circles where voice customers are very poor, while 3.75-5MHz in circles where it has good voice customer base. This calculation can help MTS to cut down further cost to acquire spectrum.

    @Kanga if you think only Rcom has such no-logic plans, MTS also has some. 1.5GB for Rs 402 (on their webportal), 1GB+UL1x+free SMS for Rs 246 (as the plan shared by MTS spokesperson), and a new plan STV195 offers 1GB evdo data+ 100 voice minutes. MTS spokesperson informed that STV195 only for HTC pulse users, but the sms was sent to imported handset/mtag users too.
