If you are on TWRP or CWM and updated it will go in bootloop to recovery . Rooting has no issues even if updated -
Is it required to unroot or de-freeze stock apps before ZVD ?

yes tri band upgrade came in ZVA but no use in India . First let normal LTE 4G come in single band then we can plan for tri band LTE . So practically no use for us in India . I had as such disabled all LTE bands in ZVC in data menu

but doesn't ZVA add spark bloat which we don't require . ZVA and ZV8 both are JB . So why not ZV8 ?

In stock KK ZVC Temperature Throttle lock is not selected in Trickster Mod, that is its not on . I have checked this 3 times after coming from TOT . Can that be a reason ? I have switched on Temperature throttle in Trickster Mod

I have tried with spr REL TMO and OPEN on using OPEN no crashes and no 1 signal bug , shows proper full signals . Signal bars are thick . I tried it in GSM as my RUIM is not catching any signal . It reads MIN correctly from RUIM and shows it . Its on RUIM only using DFS . Done TOT from ZV8 to ZVC . Whenever i change any of these from SPR the proximity sensor stops working . Can any one confirm this . SystemUI has crashed error comes intermittently when once/twice but fully usable mobile . One advantage of this is that amount of free RAM doubles over . I had generally 300MB free , now after a reboot atleast 1000MB free . Can any one tell why ? EDIT Proximity sensor working fine , just option cannot be activated in menu . During calls when mobile is brought near to face , screen does switch off -

Some CM ROM's provide this functionality. Don't know whether it is available for G2 or not. Yeah, I read about it as well. Any G2 CM users can pitch in? Worked fine but whats the use of G2 xposed ? It didnt ask me to apply any updates . It was xposed module so restarted and I didnt change any settings . Opened intelli3G which was again xposed module and required restart and setup 2G as per my requirement . But is G2 xposed required ? Will intelli3G alone will not work ? EDIT Uninstalled G2 xposed and intelli3G still works fine . Rebooted to confirm . I am on stock rooted ZVC . I am on 2G only . Finally an app which works to keep it on 2G . Thanks

I am not able to continue 2G in Roaming>GSM network . Even after i select 2G manually from the list , it shifts back to 3G after sometime . Any solution to it . I have a 3G plan but want to use only 2G most of time . Already tried Power toggles and Widgetsiod but dont work .

SuperS was not installed , installed it from playstore . But i was rooted earlier also as had checked from Root checker for using flashify

Scratched my brand new G2 while opening it for inspection . Have put a 2 inch gash on rear top while opening it using cutter for checking contents inside bubble wrap -
I am on rooted , TWRP ZVC with many apps which require root installed and working like TIBU paid , Used root checker also I am rooted fine but cant find SuperSu and no prompts asking for root permission ? Does it require manual apk/flash install to show ?

If once upgraded to ZVC then downgraded to ZV7/ZV8 do we get RUIM functionality back or after ZVC KK RUIM functionality is lost for ever and only NV/GSM works ?

Unlocked a LS980 on ZVC KK with this . Worked fine . Only change was to replace complete carrier folder as per xda thread of same . OP can update it . -

Two ways First get a new ESN based connection from BSNL . Tell them its ESN based otherwise they will give you a RUIM . They might say its obsolete and connections not being given now so insist you want it . If he says cant be given , your bad luck or try other BSNL exchange . Check what will be given in new ESN connection - 10 digit mobile number or 8 digit FWT number . If its 10 digit number EVDO and voice work fine on it with roaming . If he is not giving it ask for new EVDO esn based . Same as above but expensive 300/ something is new connection charges and all voice/data/sms topups work on it also . After new connection and what you want is sorted out thwn In new connection form give Moto G esn and they will give you a new number and activate connection on your ESN from BSNL server . Getting out all the details from them will be PIA . If you can excellent otherwise spend another 40 bucks get another RUIM and read it with DFS in any DATACARD . Or use anybodys working RUIM to get the details . This is lot better than running around in BSNL and requesting for those parameters values Put your MIN/mobile number wherever its RUIM details , copy paste everything from RUIM . For prl file save the RUIM prl file and write it on Moto G and you have a working BSNL number on Moto G Second Buy a new RUIM and change Moto G esn to match of RUIM . Transfer all settings from RUIM to Moto G . YES EACH BSNL RUIM ALSO HAS A ESN NUMBER . You have a working connection . requires paid software to change ESN . And I suppose changing ESN of a device is illegal . This can be used with any NV based mobile phone and not Moto G only If somebody wants pics please tell me , its quite simple if you have been using DFS or QPST
