I talked to a friend who is MTS dealer and he was clear, don't axpect this package any time soon in Delhi. Bad news shouldn't be shared, but now I have to look elsewhere. Friends, If you know someone working in/for MTS-Delhi, please enquire about this package. I will be glad if this news turns out to be wrong.

We have to wait until investigations start and finish. Its the first and only phenomenon that contradicts Einstien's results. Those who observed the new speed, haven't clarified if there were any physical changes in the particles other than expected/calculated. I have read many hurrying to call Einstien's results wrong. Even if this claim of exceeding speed of light, _empirically_, turns out to be correct (there will be many reviews), _theoritically_, Einstien's theory may turn out to be 'incomplete' as against 'incorrect'. I remember a few years back someone proposing that even speed of light varies (perhaps depending upon size of universe or some other factor, don't remember exactly)

This should be a pilot in WB. and i hope it will be soon available in delhi too. If that happens, i will buy their 5k android phone and will do at least 2 recharges of 2gb in a month.

just talked to MTS Delhi CC. They don't have any info about this plan. Will talk to one MTS dealer tomorrow. Dosto... Dua karo yea khabar sach ho.

I agree with rahulsid. I have been a GSM user for a long time and started using CDMA much later. I find CDMA superior. In my opinion too, only two things are holding CDMA back, expensive data plans & lack of options in handsets. If CDMA providers offer 1x plans which are comparable to EDGE plans (yes 2Gig under Rs 100/month), they will rock the market.

since you are able to access net on other devices with same RUIM, problem lies with your handset only. are you sure your phone is really OMH?

friends, i ported out of idea network about four manths back. it's a prepaid number. idea didn't object (except the last farewell call ;-). i moved to airtel. last month i moved out of airtel and currently using vodafone. while attempting to generate my UPC code second time, i had send sms to 1900 three times. not sure if airtel was blocking SMSes towards 1900. anyway, after getting my UPC code, airtel couldn't stop me. migration from airtel to vodafone was quite smooth, approx six hours of blackout from noon till midnight. i believe airtel and vodafone share good understanding levels towards each other. mnp hasn't been a bad experience for me. one more thing, i have a secondary MTS number which always comes to my rescue and i think, i'll never leave MTS.

Hello Friends, I guess I have a similar problem with my PPC 6700 as the one posted by pankajthere for his blackberry. (I have developed a deep suspicion!) I have a PPC 6700 which was earlier locked to Reliance. It has a RUIM slot fixed by some hardware hacker and set to 'RUIM Only' setting. I am using it for my MTS connection and use this PPC as modem for connecting to internet. Everywhere else I check for specs of PPC 6700, they all say its EVDO Rev.0 but my PPC 6700 never shows EVDO signals for my MTS connection. This MTS RUIM was given to me by a friend who assured me that my connection is EVDO enabled and later MTS Customer care confirmed that my connection has EVDO enabled for it. But my PPC 6700 always connects to internet with 1x. I have attached screen-shots of my PPC's ##778 menu/settings which might give you some help in understanding the cause of problem. note that the EPST (##778) main menu has 'CDMA Settings' & 'Modem Settings' items but nothing for EVDO/HDR/HSD. I have tried changing Modem Setting's Preferred Mode to 'HDR_Only' but in this mode it didn't even connect to MTS network. It connects to the network only in Automatic/CDMA_Only modes. I doubt reliance pruned its EVDO capabilities. Is it possible for my PPC 6700 to get EVDO capabilities? Please explain me how. Let me know if any further information is required about this particular phone. Thank you all,

good review. I met person in Delhi Metro using this handset. It looked quite old (wear & tear) but the device was working well. And the best part, the owner was happy using this device.

check your phone's date/time settings. browsers refuse to make secure connection if the system-time is not set to current date/time.
