    Yes the phone connects well with linux as a modem. Tested on Debian lenny. Modem was autodetected by Network-Manager. Let me know if you want more info. Thanks

    *I have installed few unsigned apps by copying them on memory card and they are working fine. *Yes it charges itself when connected to pc. *Haven't tried yet on linux but I think it will work. Will confirm later.
