Jtag - Bring Back Hard Bricked Boot Dead Phones
abhishekky replied to tomemmanuel's topic in Android
I want to share my experience for JTAG Service by Aman Soni. He is really good at it. I recommend him to anyone. I send him two handsets USC Samsung S3 and Sprint LG G3, I got them both in working condition as I wanted. S3 was stuck on boot, only vibration while pressing power on button, no display and led notification. But Aman bring the life back to S3. -
Wish all the fellow members of Rimweb and their family "A Very Happy New Year"

My friend is asking to buy XBox One from Amzon US and delivered to India. Is it a good option to do it via SnS, as I don't know what custom gonna charge on it after it land in india. Hope it doesn't cost a bomb! Or some one suggest me good option. I checked the SnS site to Join in and found that it's joining fee is USD 45. Any option to join it less than this? -

If you want no 3DTV, go for LG IPS LED TV. They are more saturated than normal LED TV. If you are looking for 3D TV go for Active 3D from Samsung. Also samsung support all the movie codec like MKV, rest all brand just promote but their TV decline to play these formats. Plasma TV's are power hungry so keep that in mind. I have a 3D TV, but I view 3D very often. It's just HD movies and Tatasky HD which I viewed most on it. I bought a 32inch Samsung LED 3D TV in November 2011 @ Rs 45,000. It was a replacement for our more than decade old 21" CRT TV. But it's display panel become faulty on the Day of Diwal in December 2012, just two week after warranty expire. The panel got changed @ Rs 10000 after a month long fight from Samsung. IMO just buy non 3D big screen and save money. You save a lot of money if you buy from dubai. I guess there is no custom if your TV is under 25KG.

@ Sujit - Go for Bajaj Discover 125ST. . @Pulkit. Duke and 200NS both are good choice. I prefer 200NS over Duke for few reasons. First - The difference in price, similar technology. Second - Pan India service support of Bajaj, also every mechanic on roadside is familiar with Pulsar series. Third - In your condition, its for daily commute for your bro. Not for serious pro biking I guess. Also invest in good riding gears like Helmet and gloves. For more user experience go to xbhp.com I think you can consider Hero Karizma ZMR too. My friend bought his 200NS three months earlier. Done with second service, returns 35kmpl after daily commute of 40-50 Km. Bike is good, stable, enjoyable only above 60km/h, Weak Horn.

I googled Alcatel OT 616C, but didn't show up any result for that model. Anyways if you want no-chinese phone, then go for Alcatel. I have a GSM phone Alcatel OT 710D, dual sim touch phone and its quality is comparable to nokia, samsung. Much better than micromax or any chinese.

MNP - Which Operator to Choose in Various Cities?
abhishekky replied to rajanmehta's topic in Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
Absolutely Right...... TataIndicom rocks in network signals and tariff in Delhi and NCR. In GSM network, Vodafone is the leader. I have used all the networks, I am on indicom since 2006 and fully satisfied by its service. For GSM voice vodafone is good and for 3G data MTNL is good. I have used the 3G data service on MTNL since it was launched and its realy good on the go in Delhi and NCR. -
This is for all BB Curve 9330 owners, for upgrading the software to OS 6. As upgrading the BB software is not new in this forum, any one can find this topic in many post. But i want to help the newbie (like me) to get the upgarde in easy steps. I am using Window 7 32bit PC and I recently purchased a BB 9330(sprint version) from Hitesh . Now the software needed: 1. Blackberry Desktop Software v5.0 Service Pack 1 Get it from here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22 2.Blackberry software v6 for sprint Get it from here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=FC3CF452D3DA8402BEBB765225CE8C0E After getting above software,[-Remove previous versions of BB softwares if intalled-] First install BB desktop software v5 after that install BB software v6 and restart your PC. Now if you connect your BB and try to upgrade through BB Desktop Manager, it will check your BB software and promt you no update available for this device. Before doing the following make backup of your device, If its new nothing needed. Now the real play begins, and we have to upgrade the BB through 'stealth OS install' method. Go to My Computer> C: Drive > Program Files > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader and delete 'Vendor.xml' Close all the applications and Refresh the desktop. Again Go to My Computer> C: Drive > Program Files > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader and double click Loader.exe which launch the Application Loader Wizard. Now remove the battery from BB. -Following steps are synchronised and you have to do it fast- But the battery back in BB > Connect the BB to USB cable > Click 'Next' in Application Loader Wizard > Again click 'Next' when appear. Now you get the long list of applications which are going to install, check all the boxes except DOD - leave it uncheck. Move forward and finish. BB will reboot, it takes time about 15 min. And you got the new OS 6.............ENJOY
