  1. Be aware that in photon 1. USSD codes do not work in prepaid. Meaning checking balances through short codes like *123# etc etc won't work 2. Bootloader is locked. So if you're someone who likes to experiment with different ROMs then this is not the phone for you. Yes, you can unlock the bootloader but still other phones come with unlocked bootloaders thereby minimising chances of bricking your phone while unlocking. Sent from my rotary phone

    This is another instance of our useless govt being blissfully unaware of the needs of the common man. There is wholescale drought in the country and people are losing their harvests.at such time, is a mobile phone the most needed thing? I mean you don't even have to be a genius to figure this $hit out. Just use your common sense. It's so frustrating to live in a country like it's. On an unrelated note, north Korea, where is wide spread starvation and people don't get proper food, has won 4 golds medals at this Olympics.whereas we,a so called emerging super power have failed to win a single gold.     Doesn't work for me. Say my 2.3.4 is up to date No update needed at the time. LoL This update kills unlock, so does that mean if your phone is currently "unlocked" it will get relocked OR does this mean now we cannot unlock it? There is a way to unlock the bootloader in photon 4g.what this basically means is that, you can install custom roms on your photon 4g. When you update to 2.3.5 it kills the root and locks your bootloader again.this is the unlock that we are talking about. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2

    ^^^^^ the coupons don't seem to work. when we have entered our address,it takes us to the next screen where we can enter the coupon code. upon entering it,on the left (where we enter the code), it says that the coupon code is invalid. but on the right hand side,the amount of our purchase is deducted by the corresponding discount coupon that we have used. at this point,when we click next,it just takes us again in a loop to the checkout page. P.S: I TRIED THE 400 RS OFF AND 15% FLAT OFF COUPONS. BOTH DIDN'T WORK FOR ME. I TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES.

  23. When trai reduced the per day sms limit to 100, Vodafone promptly reduced the limit. But then trai increased the limit to 200,but Vodafone still hasn't increased it. For 27 rupees you can still only send 100 sms everyday. So I don't think operators will be in any hurry to increase the limits. Sent from my MB855 using Tapatalk 2
