I am getting 2 iphone 5 which I got for 450$ from a pawn shop which are used phone only without box or accessories. Will they charge as per 650$ each ? also do they provide some kind of proof for the custom fee charged like SNS ? Ppobox ppl are denying to provide that at the moment.

I'm planning to get a consolidated package containing 4-5 handsets (phone only bad esn/imei for parts and repairs). As per my experience and what I read here going with comGateway (hopshopgo) this time as ppobox doesnt allow for more than one item in one package. I wanted to know from someone who uses comGateway regularly, how does is compare to ppobox 's speedy and hasstlefree delivery ? (although ppobox is somewhat laggy for last couple weeks). Also if I can get the seller to incl an invoice in the package confirming that I purchased them at that price, will there still be delays/issues at custom clearance ? Never ever get anything shipping directly to india via USPS. They will charge 41.8% custom fee on declared value ( they apparantely have fixed charge of any electronic item if a package comes thru post). No matter what u do and whom to talk to , they will not negotiate on that and the item gets stuck in custom. Use package forwarder services like ppobox etc only. they are fast,trackable all the way to ur home and less expensive (usps shipping will cost more)

Hi, They ship either by FedEx or DHL Express. They will handle custom clearance DHL takes about 3-5 days to reach India. FedEx takes a bit longer. You should expect delays in customs for bulk orders. Insurance is mandatory, if you`re using HSG. It`ll be added to your shipping cost. Just make sure your package worth does not go over $2000. You`ll need a Import/Export code for that. Hello All, I wanted to know if anyone has used HOPSHOPGO for shipping and how is the experience. I have heard that they provide service for consolidated shipping , so u can get more than 1 items packed in one package and get them together, saving on shipping. I am hoping to get 4 phones in same package delivered to me and so was searching for option, but have a few queries which I hope u can answer. 1. do they provide custom clearance service too ? 2. How much time they will take on average for shipping. 3. Item I am thinking of getting is off value 900$ and weigh 3-4lbs (consolidated package). How much charge in total I should expect. 4. I was trying to do radio prog for reliane. I had the GSM unlocked a while back and then restored to MF9 update.. However due to some reason I am not bee able to get in DIAG mode.. I have tried codes ##3424# *#7284# and ##3282# but it says 'INVALID MMI code" error.. Is there any alternate way to get in DIAG mode, maybe thru TE/ADB or via a script ? Also is there something I might be doing wrong ? Pl need urgent help ! Thanks !!!

Hello Gurus, I am trying to do radio programming of Verizon Droid DNA for reliance cdma according to the instructions provided here: http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/35995-tutorial-flashing-your-cdma-handset-after-meidesn-registration/ Even after everything is done successfully, I am not able to get connected to *228. I am quite experienced with this process and has done prog for couple phones earlier too, but the process is not working for the DNA. I am getting a signal on CDMA mode but no 'reliance' banner. This let me think that nam, prl etc are written but there is still something I am missing. When I try to call *228 or *22898 or any no for that matter, I get 'no sim' error as shown in the screenshot attached. Requesting immediate help or suggestions to solve this for our beloved gurus. I was seriously expecting 5c 16gb to be for 449$ and 32gb for 499$ as suggested in some forums. I was really interested in getting a Blue color one asap but now I guess its better to look for good deals on iphone 5 only for a while. The upside is that after this new launch ppl are selling there iphone 5 in haste and so in much better price point for us.

When u connect with PC and choose MTP a window pops up on the phone showing progress to get some drivers... There is a skip command at the bottom of that window, just click on it. The phone will still be connected using MTP and work with no issues.. I could never figure out what kind of drivers it needs but I am sure u dont need to download it. Hope this help !!! EDIT : On looking more closely I have realised I have misinterpreted ur problem. Do u have LG drivers to install. I can provide u the ones I have installed in my win7 64bit machine.

The two lines are still active in the build.prop and I get the GSM/UMTS setting under mobile network. In fact , now I get two enteries about 'Network type'. One populates all the options that we get with hidden menu ##4636#(not sure of exact code but something like that) and one showing 4 options : GSM/WCDMA/LTE(auto), GSM/WCDMA(auto), GSM only, WCDMA only. One can safely use this option IMO. I use option 2 i.e GSM/WCDMA(auto) What Rom are you on? Stock MDL or MF9 or any other custom Rom. Hey .. just out of curiosity , has anyone tried to see if it works with OMH sim ? I was going thru build.prop and it seems that OMH is enabled by default. So it should work with correct setting. Unfortunately I dont have a OMH sim to try. Would be an interesting thing to know..

I am also currently using the same as my primary phone.. I am on the 4.1.2 right now. This is the latest version right ? Anyways I did got to it by flashing a stock deodexed rom. I never had a good experience with the OTAs.

OK.. finally with help and a teamviewer session with the greay Girish aka @garynsa , I got it sorted out and its unlocked now.. looking for the most stable way to get apn settings.. Also if I flash a aosp 4.3 rom will the unlock work or there would be issues ?

Yes I have tried both ports.. same thing.. one thing though.. when putting the phone to DIAG mode, I am NOT asked for MSL code as mentioned in tutorial by @vinodnayak. Is it something that is unexpected. Also is there any other way via terminal emulator to do all this.. I can do it the complex way too if that what it takes.

Hello Guys !! Finally I managed to get the serial ports detected in the DFS but then faced another issue.. after entering the PWD and clicking the arrow the logs just gets stuck at 'seaching device' and nothing happens. I also tried the 1-click app that is included in original xda link thanks to meanngreen04 and autoprime but that doesn't do anything too. I have tried this both on MDL and MDC basebands and no avail. Interesting enough , I also noticed that in CDMA workshop too even after connecting to the modem, the details of the phone are not populated in there. Can someone please lemme know what I am missing ?? Totally clueless here.. Cheers!!! Dev
